I really think the performance of this machine is not great at all. No dishwasher can magically clean horrible stains but I feel like this one is especially bad and I complain about it often. It's a little too small for the amount of people living with me (3) and we have to run it about once every other day. If you don't run it on the heaviest wash, practically nothing will be clean. And it's actually pretty load considering one of its features was that it was supposed to be quiet. However, it seems to be pretty durable and has yet to get burnt out. It's on the cheaper side of built-ins. So guess it's what I would call satisfactory - even though it is my least favorite appliance.
