Great microwave, nothing unnecessary that you don't need and it has everything you could want. It is a good size that can fit large dinner plates in unlike the last one that we had, and it heats up food very quickly. Be careful that you don't overcook your food as this microwave can get hot! I love the black because it matches our other black Frigidaire appliances and looks great in our little kitchen. I recommend this product and the other Frigidaire products I have reviewed because they all work so well together and are reasonably priced for the great quality that you get. Settings/Features Nothing to fancy but everything you need Ease of Cleaning Easy to clean, plate removes like most microwaves and can be put through the dishwasher or washed in the sink. The black finish doesn't show messes as bad as white appliances which is a bonus. Ease of Use Very easy to use, nothing too fancy where you need to read the manual just to figure out how to heat your meal :) Buttons clearly labelled and it has quick function buttons so you don't even have to punch in the desired time if you don't want to.

Frigidaire 1000 Watt 1.5 Cubic Feet Over-the-Range Microwave Oven works well as a microwave. It is powerful and often cooks before the recommended times. The fan for the oven isn't the best. I do not feel that is sucks up much of the smoke, but it does contain it. Performance This Over-the-Range Microwave cooks great. It heats up quickly and cooks before the recommended time. Settings/Features It has the features of most microwaves. It has the easy one minute cook time, popcorn, and defrost features to name a few. It adds to the ease of use. Ease of Cleaning Microwave is easy to clean the turn wheel inside comes out easily. I have trouble cleaning the inside the door. It would be nice to have a self cleaning option. Ease of Use The Frigidaire Microwave is simple to use. The features are self explanatory. Durability It has held up well. There is currently no wear showing on any of the microwave or buttons. Design The design is a typical design for an over-the-range microwave.

I bought the Frigidaire 1000 watt microwave to use at work. It was one of the lower priced microwaves and I had a budget for the office. I really thought that all it would be good for was heating up coffee. While the inside space is smaller than my microwave at home, it can still fit quite a bit inside for its size. The controls are easy to use if you read the directions before hand. The carousel inside makes sure that food items are heated equally on all sides. It takes a bit longer to heat the middle, but most microwaves have that problem. This is not your top of the line microwave oven, but it does get the job done and was worth the money I paid for it.
