Friends Review Summary

One of the most popular television series of all time, Friends debuted on NBC in 1994 and ran to 2004. It also can be found in syndication just about everywhere. "Everyone can relate to the characters, whether it be to yourself or amongst your own friends". Friends found its niche throwing a group of attractive young people together in a couple of apartments in New York and providing them with endearing qualities and snappy dialogue. Everyone has a favorite "Friend" be it Ross, Rachael, Joey, Phoebe, Monica or Chandler. The show thrived by engaging viewer first in the on/off relationship between the nerdy Ross and the beautiful worldly Rachael and later, the surprise pairing of the OCD Monica and wise acre Chandler. Womanizing dumbell Joey and airhead Phoebe served up a lot of comic fodder and provided the cohesive that held them together. Reviewers almost uniformly love Friends, with the lone exception simply tired of seeing the reruns everywhere.

OK PEOPLE, TIME TO TAKE ALL THE RERUNS OFF THE AIR.  EITHER BRING THEM BACK WITH NEW EPISODES, OR TAKE THEM COMPLETELY OFF.  I AM SOOOOOO SICK OF ALL THE RERUNS.  SOMETIMES THEY PLAY THE SAME EPISODE OF FRIENDS MORE THAN ONCE PER WEEK.  ARGGGGGGHHH.  HERE IS ANOTHER SHOW MY NEW HUSBAND IS GA-GA...

I REALLY ENJOYED AND MISS THE SHOW FRIENDS.  I DO HAVE ALL THE SEASONS, AND I COULD NEVER GET TIRED OF WATCHING THEM.  I EVEN HAVE THE GAMES AND A SHIRT SAYING "I MISS MY FRIENDS".  I REMEMBER CRYING WHEN ROSS AND RACHEL BROKE UP.  THEY HAVE THE BEST CHEMISTRY.  I LOVED IT WHEN MONICA WAS TRYING TO MAKE CHANDLER LIKE THANKSGIVING AND SHE WAS GOING THE TURKEY DANCE.  THAT WAS HILLARIOUS.  THE BEST EPISODE HAS GOT TO BE WHEN THEY GO BACK IN TIME AND CHANDLDER HAS HIS FLOCK OF SEAGULLS HAIR.  ALL IN ALL IT WILL GO DOWN AS ONE OF THE BEST SHOWS ON T.V.  I CAN STILL WATCH RE-RUNS.  PHEOBE...

I recently moved to an apartment on a budget without cable and rediscovered my appreciation for my Friends DVD collection.  After watching them over and over, they never get old.  In fact, I laugh in anticipation of the really great episodes.

Favorite episode?  Hands down - "The one with the embryos"  It's the one where they play the game and the girls lose the apartment.  For anyone that hasn't watched Friends -- You need to! Jennifer, Monica, Phoebe, Chandler, Joey, and Ross.  Everyone can relate to the characters, whether it be to yourself or amongst your own friends.

I highly recommend!!...

My favorite show of all time, millions let FRIENDS into their lives every Thursday for 10 seasons! I absolutely love every minute of every season. Every year I looked forward to the Thanksgiving and Christmas episodes, because it was just the 6 of them together sitting around Monica's and Rachel's apartment (later on Monica's and Chandler's apartment). Those episodes each year were the most clever and funny of ANY of their episodes.

In Season 1 we got to know them and adore them all. In Season 2 Ross and Rachel finally get together and the break up in Season 3. Season 4 was full of lighthearted...

    FRIENDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In my opinion, Friends is the BEST , and funniest, show in the world.

It is a sitcom that shows how it is to live a typical life in New York. There are six main characters: Rachel, Ross, Chandler, Monica, Joey, and Pheobe. Rachel is a rich, spoiled girl, who is adapting to living on her own by getting a job and making her own money. Ross is a paleontologist, gets married, divorced, and has a son with a lesbian, he gets married and divorced 2 more times. Ross and Rachel fall in love and have a baby girl together. Chandler was an...

The FRIENDS series is one of the best comedy series of all time!  It is one of my favorite TV shows and I was so depressed when the series was over after ten seasons.  It is easy for anyone to relate to any of the six main characters.  Phoebe is the eccentric one, Chandler is the awkward one, Monica is the neat freak, Ross is the scholar, Rachel is the cute one and Joey is the funny one.  The series follows the friends throughout their lives from when they first met and until the end of their New York City lifestyle.  I highly recommend watching this series especially if you are a comedy fan....

I've lost count of how many times I watched Friends in last 10 years! Yet I still would love to watch it when ever I can. No matter how depress I'm, it cheers me up. The show is funny yet the situations and friendship are heart warming. Their fightings, bickerings and their being there for each other reminds me of my own bachelor days' friendships.

I love friend's dialogues and jokes but beware most of them are not for your children! atleast I don't let my children watch it.

It's hard to say which one is my favorite character, they are all important and awesome in their own way but alas if I have...

It's funny that a show that originally wasn't expeted  do much became such a powerhouse for AOL Time Warner. The cast is great (especially Joey Tribbiani, played by Matt LeBlanc, who had a short-lived spin-off).

My favourite characters must be Pheobe (played by Lisa Kudrow, Joey (see above), or Monica Gellar-Bing (Courteney Cox ARQUETTE). The reason I like Monica so much is that she alwats was, well, um, endowed in the breast department. After a negotiaton of their salary (1.125 million, per episode/or per week), she got astronopmically huge. Her husband, David Arquette must love it.

My ONLY...

So this was my wife's favorite tv show.  Normally whatever she is watching I have no desire to watch.  But I can stand to sit down and watch this show.  It is pretty funny most of the time.  The only bad part about it is I'm not a big fan of David Schwimmer.  But he's alright in this show I guess.  Overall, it is a pretty funny show and it is one my wife and I can enjoy together.  So I'll give it four stars.

Friends is a enjoyable, light and humorous show. I watched every season, some more then once.

The Thanksgiving episode with the Geller cup was possibly my favorite. The line during the football game 'Cheater cheater, compulsive eater' was classic!

The episodes with Frank, Pheobie's brother, are also a whoot. He and his wife (also the mom in That 70's Show) are such a quirky couple.

I am reviewing the TV Show Friends, and I personally think that it should come back. They should at least get back together and form a movie and give people that watched if fall throught the years and update on what is new with each character.   It was such a good show with humor and drama.  I wish I had that group of friends to hang out with.

I have seen everybody episode about 100 times.  It's the only show I can pretty much quote anything from memory.  I love all the characters and don't think there's a clunker among the episodes.  I only all 10 seasons on DVD AND have the special finale DVD.  It's the show I turn to when I'm upset and need a good laugh--I know it will always make me feel better

This is a great series! I own the entire Friend's set!  I watched it when it was on TV orignally & then I've wanted the dvd set through 3 times since I got it 2 years ago.  It provides endless laughs.  My friends and I have endless jokes together from the show.  We all want a chick & a duck  now.  The Friend's board game is fun too!
