Friday Night Lights Review

FNL is a great show!  I really don't understand why NBC doesn't think this show will work.  I thought it was a great move to placing this show on Friday nights in front of Las Vegas (also a good show).  There is not any good tv on Fridays - so I would think that NBC would be the Friday slot winner. 

About the show - I am 30 years old and love this show, it is not just for kids.  FNL is spot on with its portrayal of southern fried football and all the drama that surrounds it!  It is a total throw back to how my highschool was.  I love Riggins, a hot & sexy bad boy underdog - Taylor Kitsch does a great job.  Also, for the older crowd (like me) Coach Taylor (Kyle Chandler, YUM!) is great, I love his natural southern accent and his wife played by Connie Britton also does a great job of playing a mother with a teen and baby (just like me!).  Props for producer Peter Berg - who is also an underrated cutie of an actor!
