 I love the Fresh step cat litter. It works great. I was so amazed at how well this product controlled my oldest cat's odors . I never dreamed that when I adopted two more cats , this would still control the odors. I use it faithfully. My cats are spoiled to the best. If I put something else in their litter box they would probably hiss at me.

Well, there's only so much you can say about cat litter but after many trials and tribulations, I have finally found a cat litter that works better than the rest.

I'm a bit of a bargain hunter, often buying whatever is on sale but this is one product I regularly buy even at full price. The pieces are a bit smaller than other litters and Fresh Step creates much less dust than any of the other brand name litters, which is a plus for me because I have sinus problems and I'm normally the one who cleans and fills the litter box. The thing I hate the most about cats is the smell that their litter boxes make. I use Fresh Step and it is wonderful! I'm sure there are other brands that are also effective, but this one is so affordable and absorbs the smell right away. There are two reasons I buy this litter: (1) my cat loves it and hates any other litter, (2) it is relatively inexpensive and you can use the paw points to get free litter in the future. I would much rather buy a more expensive litter that is better for my cat and better for the environment. Clay litter is not biodegradable and if ingested by your cat can be very harmful. I have a walkout basement with a family room. it also contains the utility room where the cat litter boxes are kept. I used to use Tidy Cat with good success. Due to the heavy advertising I started to use Fresh Step Carbon odor blocking cat littler. For some time we noticed an unpleasant odor as soon as we started walking down stairs.
