I live in a smaller apartment with four (lovely) cats, so it's VITAL to use a cat litter that works well. My boyfriend and I have tried and tested almost every cat litter out there and so far, this one stands out as the best. This is, overall, a great cat litter. I'm all about natural foods and all, but I'm a bit less worried about using sub-par (health-wise) cat litter. I feel that if you clean the littler box well and often, your cats won't be breathing in litter fragrance all day long - they're in and out in 30 seconds to a minute. My cats never had a problem with Fresh Step litter - it clumps very well, so as long as you take care of that at least once a day, it'll be clean and smelling very nice. —  I have two cats, so this multiple cat formula is perfect. A few times when another brand was one sale, I tried it, but always regretted the decision.  I have never found one that I like better than Fresh Step.  I have three cats of my own and also foster for a cat rescue organization, so my house is often FILLED with cats -- and Fresh Step really does a great job of eliminating litterbox odors.  I have finally learned my lesson and no longer buy the other brands, even when they are cheaper (although Fresh Step is not particularly expensive when compared to some others). —… read full review »

Fresh Step Multiple Cat  Litter — If you have multipal cats you should try Fresh Step   I have 6 cats   all were kittens in need of a home when they came to live with me.Now my oldest are 10 years old — I've used fresh step  for many years  I've tried other brands inbetween to see if they are better but so far i haven't found any thing that works better. I have 3 cats in our home and have tried sooooo many different litters , this is now the only one I will use, I still ofcourse need to change the litter twice weekly to control the odor, but other litters were being changed atleast 5 times per week. I would recommend anyoneone who has more than 1 cat to try it, you will never want to buy anything else. Our family has 9 cats. At one time we had as many as 11.  Most are indoor and outdoor cats during the summer but in the winter they're all inside which means lots of litter usage. I have tried every kind of litter made and have found this brand the best for odor control which is our #1 concern.  It clumps really well for the wet, and covers poo odor too.  It is a bit more pricey than it's competitors, but well worth the money.… read full review »

This is the best litter I have tried for my multiple-cat household.  Since I have a disability, I sometimes have a problem cleaning the litter box every day for my two cats.  When that happens, it is impossible to tell that the box needs to be cleaned.  Usually I clean it every day and I love how it clumps, making clean-up so simple and fast.  This is an excellent value for the money and I highly recommend… read full review »
