Since I'm an online food writer, I hate to confess that I am a frozen pizza eater. This is a really small town. Take out options are quite limited. There's chicken at the gas station, and we do have a Subway now. There are days when I'm flat tired, and frozen pizzas always go over well with my boys. I like them too (so shoot me). I try to keep back-up pizzas in the freezer.
Generally I buy the sale frozen pizzas. Most of them taste pretty much alike. OK. There are minor differences. But a frozen pizza is a frozen pizza. Until . . .

review »Our family really enjoys Freschetta's pizzas. We especially like their extra thin crust pizzas. We love the thin crust pizzas because
1. They taste GREAT.
2. They have fewer calories than most other pizzas.
3. They are inexpensive to buy.
4. They are really easy to fix.
We enjoy buying the extra thin crust cheese pizza and adding some of our other favorite ingredients--for my wife that is green olives and for me it is pineapple. If you haven't tried these pizzas by all means pick some up on your next super-market trip.
I first tried Freschetta pizzas awhile ago and still buy them today. I have tried all of them and they are all so good. My favorite is the veggie, even though I am not vegetarian. The sauces on the pizzas are all so good and it doesn't have that frozen pizza taste. They are inexpensive as well! The veggies and other toppings seem to be so fresh and full of flavor. The crust is also very good. Firm but flaky, and can be cooked longer or shorter in order to get just the right crunch to your crust. You will love this pizza if you try it.
