Since I'm an online food writer, I hate to confess that I am a frozen pizza eater. This is a really small town. Take out options are quite limited. There's chicken at the gas station, and we do have a Subway now. There are days when I'm flat tired, and frozen pizzas always go over well with my boys. I like them too (so shoot me). Though I am a self-confessed pizza addict, I am a little choosy about the pizza I eat. Of course, I love a good pizza that comes fresh out of a wood-burning stove with perfectly melted cheese, just the right amount of sauce and crispy/soft crust. I love to cook, but once in a while I want something different or something easy to make at home so I bake up a frozen pizza.  I am very picky about the pizzas I choose, because so many have a hard crust or a bland sauce.  Freschetta pizzas bake up soft and chewy with a great texture and lots of flavor.  They are so easy to make and the crust on the Brick Oven type is my favorite because it is crispy and soft in the middle.  The Pizza Amore comes in a 6 cheese blend which I find so tasty and there are also pepperoni, meat blend and a supreme variety available.  For an… read full review »

I first tried Freschetta pizzas awhile ago and still buy them today. I have tried all of them and they are all so good. My favorite is the veggie, even though I am not vegetarian. The sauces on the pizzas are all so good and it doesn't have that frozen pizza taste. They are inexpensive as well! The veggies and other toppings seem to be so fresh and full of flavor. The crust is also very good. Firm but flaky, and can be cooked longer or shorter in order to get just the right crunch to your crust. You will love this pizza if you try it. Our family really enjoys Freschetta's pizzas. We especially like their extra thin crust pizzas. We love the thin crust pizzas because — 1. They taste GREAT. — 2. They have fewer calories than most other pizzas. — 3. They are inexpensive to buy. — 4. They are really easy to fix. — We enjoy buying the extra thin crust cheese pizza and adding some of our other favorite ingredients--for my wife that is green olives and for me it is pineapple. Great pizza. Sauce is tangy and thick. Love the crust so crispy and has a great unique taste. Pepporoni is great. Sausage not so good. All in all I would give this pizza a 9 out of 10.  This is the best I have come across in frozen pizzas.  I love the crust it has a lot of flavor. When I go to the store I look for that brand. If they dont have it,  I make it myself.
