This was our 3rd stay at the French Quarter Inn and we are never disappointed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable, very clean, and well maintained, and the hotel is an easy walk to excellent restaurants, the market, Meeting Street, etc. Coffee Urns are on each floor in the morning so you only need to walk down the hall (or out your door) to get your morning cup of java. Breakfast is set up in the lobby and you can choose to eat there or on the lovely outside patio. Iced teas and lemonade are available all day, wine and cheese is served in the early evening,… read full review »

Our stay at the French Quarter Inn was extremely pleasant. The staff were remarkably accomodating and pleasant to deal with. The little amenities made a big difference - not only a nice breakfast with pastries, fresh fruit, etc. but also midday teas, wine and cheese in the afternoon and cookies and milk at night. The rooms were large and well kept and you can choose from a menu of 7 different types of pillows - I chose the Swedish massage pillow and my wife chose the body pillow; she liked hers so much, we're buying one for home. The bathroom was huge! The location was great - within… read full review »

The entrance to the French Quarter Inn is warm and welcoming with its winding staircase and lighting. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and amenities. The bathroom was spacious, with more than enough towels and toiletries. The hotel provided a pillow menu offering everything from a Swedish pillow to a snore no more pillow. Every morning an adequate continental breakfast was provided; with iced tea and lemonade all day; wine and cheese at 5:00 and warm cookies and milk each night. Coffee and tea are always available. This was our first visit to Charleston and we could not… read full review »

This hotel is very centrally located, right across from the Market within minutes walking distance of everything- shopping, restaurants, historic homes, and the water... The hotel was spotless, the staff very friendly and accomodating, and it has fun little perks like champagne at check-in and cookies and milk before bedtime. We had a little trouble with our shower water and it was fixed right away. Big bathroom with great toiletries too. No complaints!Dining: Short Walk, It's right around the corner from great restaurants like SNOB (Slightly North of Broad) and the High Cotton. … read full review »

The French Quarter Inn is delightful. It's spotlessly clean, service is excellent, and the location can't be beat. They serve a continental breakfast in the morning with free delivery to your room, which is more convenient and comfortable than the seating downstairs when it's too cool to sit outdoors. Coffee and tea are available on all floors pretty much all the time. They also serve wine and cheese in the early evening (5:00 - 6:30). They offer wifi for laptop users, which had strong reception in the room. We highly recommend this inn.Dining: Short Walk, It's a short walk to the… read full review »

The French Quarter Inn was better than I expected. The staff members were very helpful and pleasant. The complimentary breakfast, the wine and cheese in the evenings and the cookies and milk at night were all a treat. The location could not have been better. I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends.Dining: Short Walk, Great Resturants within walking distance.....82 Queens (Best Crabcakes) Magnolia, High Cotton. The French Quarter Inn is one of the best places we have stayed in our trips to Charleston. The location is wonderful, close to all shops and dining. TRISTAN, the restaurant, is fantastic!! Our room was large, as was the bathroom. The pillow selection was great. Continental breakfast had a nice selection, and you can have it brought to your room, if desired. Wine and Cheese in the evening was also a very nice touch. We will stay there again for sure!Dining: In Hotel, —… read full review »

The French Quarter Inn was a spectacular find! Nestled in the heart of downtowm Charleston, the proximity to everything you would want was within walking distance. The hotel staff was over-the-top! They exceded our expectations! The friendly valet greeted us as we checked in. The front desk staff were very helpful with directions and a complimentary glass of champagne. Each evening, a generous wine and cheese happy hour was provided. In the morning, a deluxe contintental breakfast was available. And, even cookies and milk at bedtime! How about that? The rooms were adequately… read full review »

The French Quarters Inn was a wonderful place to stay while visiting Charleston. The people there was very friendly and helpful in asking any questions we had about where to visit and eat. the rooms were very large and had all the comforts of home. The best part was the hot coffee and tea tray that was outside the room in the hall one could have coffee or tea up till 9:30 or 10:00 at night. each afternoon wine and cheese was served which was just inside a very lovely courtyard. we met many people while sipping on a wonderful glass of wine. The moning one could come down and find a large… read full review »
