Our stay at the French Quarter Inn was extremely pleasant. The staff were remarkably accomodating and pleasant to deal with. The little amenities made a big difference - not only a nice breakfast with pastries, fresh fruit, etc. but also midday teas, wine and cheese in the afternoon and cookies and milk at night. The rooms were large and well kept and you can choose from a menu of 7 different types of pillows - I chose the Swedish massage pillow and my wife chose the body pillow; she liked hers so much, we're buying one for home. The bathroom was huge! The location was great - within walking distance to everything. The entire hotel was tastefully decorated. While we paid more than we normally do for two nights, I felt it was a good value. I would definitely stay there again!

Dining: Short Walk, Jestine's for good comfort food, southern style (low cost) and Magnolia for upscale dining (pricey but romatic - and great food).
