The entrance to the French Quarter Inn is warm and welcoming with its winding staircase and lighting. The room was large with a very comfortable bed and amenities. The bathroom was spacious, with more than enough towels and toiletries. The hotel provided a pillow menu offering everything from a Swedish pillow to a snore no more pillow. Every morning an adequate continental breakfast was provided; with iced tea and lemonade all day; wine and cheese at 5:00 and warm cookies and milk each night. Coffee and tea are always available. This was our first visit to Charleston and we could not have chosen a better location. We were in the heart of shopping, dining, and within walking distance to the Cooper River and its parks and gardens.

Dining: Short Walk, Everything available from Sunday brunch, to happy hour, to more formal dining at 5 star restaurants. Every meal was delicious and served with southern hospitality.
