This was our 3rd stay at the French Quarter Inn and we are never disappointed. The staff is friendly and accommodating, the rooms are comfortable, very clean,and well maintained, and the hotel is an easy walk to excellent restaurants, the market, Meeting Street, etc. Coffee Urns are on each floor in the morning so you only need to walk down the hall (or out your door) to get your morning cup of java. Breakfast is set up in the lobby and you can choose to eat there or on the lovely outside patio. Iced teas and lemonade are available all day, wine and cheese is served in the early evening, and cookies and milk are a treat before bedtime. The hotel is big enough to provide luxuries, but small enough to be a comfortable homey environment. Tristan, the hotel restaurant, has excellent lunches and the service is impeccable. Parking attendants retrieve cars quickly and with a smile. I can't say enough good things about this hotel.

Dining: Short Walk, 82 Queen is one of our favorite restaurants. Their shrimp and grits are wonderful. Jestine's Kitchen which serves old school southern cooking is also a short distance away and worth the wait. Historic carriage tours are right around the corner.
