The French Quarter Inn was a spectacular find! Nestled in the heart of downtowm Charleston, the proximity to everything you would want was within walking distance. The hotel staff was over-the-top! They exceded our expectations! The friendly valet greeted us as we checked in. The front desk staff were very helpful with directions and a complimentary glass of champagne. Each evening, a generous wine and cheese happy hour was provided. In the morning, a deluxe contintental breakfast was available. And, even cookies and milk at bedtime! How about that? The rooms were adequately furnished and comfortable. The hotel even had several different types of pillows available. We were impressed! We will be back!

Dining: Short Walk, Walk a few blocks over to High Cotton on East Bay. Nice, upscale dining with lots of charm. Also - check out Fleet Landing on the water at Cumberland St. Great seafood and steaks. Lots of wine by the glass.
