This movie (saw it on a plane) was awful. I mean, based on a true story, ok. Seems like she was a good teacher. Don't need to make a movie about it. It doesn't translate well into a story and definitely doesn't make for entertaining cinema. What was up with the love story, by the way? It seemed like an afterthought. And the whole thing was done earlier in an even cheesier movie called Dangerous Minds. Great teachers are heroes, but portraying them in an all-too-predictable movie doesn't do these professionals justice. Stereotypes abound in this pretty boring film featuring bad acting and edgeless dialog.
