The Freecycle Network is a great place to join a group of people in your own community who, like all of us, have items in our homes that we need to get rid of, but don't want to throw away, or need to find items. Many members get and give items for so many reasons. Perhaps they are expecting a new baby, or children are outgrowing the items they have already. Some members have redecorated, moved or downsized and need to find new home for items. Others are just starting out and need items to furnish their homes. For whatever reason, Freecycle groups can meet the needs of those in our communities, both in freeing up space in homes and filling needs in others. An added benefit is meeting others in your neighborhood, keeping tons of items from our overstuffed landfills and so many other wonderful benefits.
