In these days of budget crunch, I love finding free stuff or great coupons and deals on products. My only problem is, as a full time working mom of 2, under the age of 2, I barely have time to them. That is until I found a fabulous website listing free items, deals and activities in one place ~ Freebie Finds.

Blog My Way to Freebies
Utilizing the power of blog space, Viewpoints’ own Lisa Carey is the proprietor of Freebie Finds. Although Blogspot doesn’t always allow for the best layout of information, Freebie Finds manages to list the latest and greatest freebies available both online and off. The site itself has its quirks since it is within blog confines and at times offer links may not work, but a quick e-mail generally helps sort that out. All the keywords for brands and stores are available in case you want to check for a particular item or return to an item previously found. Additional items found on the website include links to Lisa’s writing, links to valuable parenting resources and various fun contests or polls.

Quality Around Every Corner

Taking pride in the offers posted, Lisa takes time to sort through the “free stuff” world to list only quality and real free offers. Sure there are tons of “free” offers out there that sound great, only to end up costing you $9.99 in shipping or require you to complete offers. These do not show up on Freebie Finds.

Every few days, sometimes daily, the site is updated with new finds. The items range from free samples to coupons to children’s activities. In addition to listing the freebie, any tips or tricks needed for obtaining the freebie are also included. It has been approximately a month or so since I found this site and for about 3 weeks straight we were receiving a new sample and/or coupon in the mail pretty much daily - of course there’s no mail on Sundays.

Beyond the Blog
Beyond the efforts to keep current and quality free offers listed, Freebie Finds also produces a newsletter for frequent readers. On the surface, this may seem like a repeat of the blog entry, but there’s more. Every so often there are offers and/or information within the newsletter not posted on the blog. Also, there are various contests run for either answering questions or referring others to the site, which sometimes result in coupons or other free deals being sent to the winner.

Overall, besides minor readability issues, Freebie Finds has become one of my primary resources for finding free offers. This saves me tons of time searching for these deals on my own, and they are great time, money and sanity savers as well.

Thanks Lisa for all you do.

Looks like the original post on that link was really about the site. the other unfortunately went off on their own tangent. Blogs are an interesting phenomenon for sure. I have only really gotten in to reading other's blogs and not doing my own - primary reason is I'm lazy about doing it. Thanks for stopping by and I hope you're enjoying yourself.

Thanks for sharing such an awesome review. I have never done the blogs and stuff so I came to this category to get an idea of what it was all about. I was disappointed when I looked at some the reviews for "What's In Your Purse? blog because no one reviewed the site--they all listed what was in their purse. Was I missing something there? So, I was glad to see your review.

This site has old freebies, some that have expired, I don't think it compares to www.freestufftimes.com fst is much easier to navigate, its updated, and clean, its not covered with advertisement, and it has many more freebies to offer

Thanks for the added info Lisa. I wasn't sure if you would want an e-mail published or not so I figured people could do it from the site. Now they have the info. Glad you liked it.

WOW thank you so much for the compliment, I hate those sites that make you do extra steps or have hidden fees! I am glad that you are finding it helpful and enjoyable.
