Love languages and you're curious by nature?
You'll love the simplicity of FreeTranslation.com. It translates English into 11 different languages, but goes the other way as well, so you can look up a phrase you read in a book or magazine article.
Impress your girlfriend, but keep it simple!
The site's not perfect, and can make some funny errors on phrases. But a simple noun, adjective, or pronoun/verb combo is no problem. I use this site many, many times a week, in my freelance career, and just for my own personal benefit. (I've been studying Italian for 5 years and can get around the block...

This is awesome!
I tried translating old letters for genealogy.....
sometimes it worked and sometimes not but it's better than nothing!
FreeTranslation.com is a great, free translation service which allows you to translate to and from the most popular languages.
There are also some good, free tools on there which make translating on the web easier and quicker. Plus, a few to pay a small amount for - the Desktop one has certainly made my life easier! And, in the time I've been using it, they keep on adding stuff.
