Kind of a waste of time, but feeding people is never bad

Ending hunger is a wonderful thing, don't get me wrong, but the idea that spending a few minutes to donate a couple hundred grains of rice seems kind of silly to me. We're talking the equivalent of a several cents in cost--the time could be spent in a more efficient way donated to the cause or earning money for it.

Of course, we're not always efficient beings and we do need downtime and mental stimulation. This site lets you play vocabulary games alongside Google ads. The Rice.com games are pretty fun and the revenue from the ads goes to hunger. A win-win if not efficient.
