Most HelpfulI use & pre-fer the "Original Franks Hot Sauce"-That can be toned up or toned down as needed...for each person. Not the wing sauce.
Frank's Red Hot has Been around for over 80 years, created in buffalo New York.
Franks Red Hot "Original" comes in many sizes from the simple table shaker to big bulk bottles. I have a shaker for the table and a big 23 oz. that I bought at sam's in a (twin pack of two 23 bottles for cooking).
I prefer this sauce because of the smooth flavor & taste adds just the right amount of kick.Used plain it will still make you sweat a little, but not compaired to the other...
review »We tried this a while ago since my husband likes the Frank's brand of hot sauce. He’s a bit of a hot sauce connoisseur and has strong opinions when it comes to the differing brands of hot sauce. Frank’s had hit the right line between taste, spiciness, and the ability to find it at our grocery store.
We’re both fans of hot wings, but not so much the bones in the wings, so I had often made buffalo sauce to coat our chicken in. It was good, but it does require time and attention. As a busy working mom, I’m always looking for shortcuts that make weeknight dinners easier.

review » Frank's hot sauce is probably one of the very few hot sauces that does not taste like Tobasco sauce or tomatoe paste. It has its own special and unique taste. So good in fact, you can drink it. Frank's hot sauce can be added to any meat. On chicken wings however, it's the best. If applied correctly to the surface of most meats the sauce is absorbed, therefore, It's not sticky or saucy. You're not licking your dirty fingers. You're tasting the true flavour of the meat&sauce combination. That's the secret I think. Trully a great eating experience.

I recently discovered Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce when a recipe I was trying called for it. The recipe was a chicken dip appetizer that is also written on Frank's website. Lets just say that it was such a HUGE hit. I couldn't keep enough on the table! Everyone was asking for the recipe. I am now addicted to Frank's Red Hot Buffalo Wing Sauce. I put it on a lot of different foods including pizza, baked chicken breasts, and traditional chicken wings. A lot of other buffalo wing sauces that I have tried go from one extreme to another; either way to hot or too bland for my taste. ...
review »I like spicy food, but the worst kind of wings are so hot they're painful to eat. Some sauces kill your taste buds even with a small amount. I like Franks because you can control the level of heat with the amount of sauce. One layer before cooking and they're tangy while only slightly spicy. A few more layers during or after cooking and it starts to really heat up. However, the flavor is always present, not just heat. For years I used the original Frank's on my wings so I was glad when they came out with the actual Buffalo sauce- tastes just as great.
