Dear Kingfish, While the idea of a regime change was undoubtedly discussed during the Clinton years, they weren't stupid or arrogant enough to actually do it. The review by the way, was about Fox News.

Sorry to let the facts get in the way of good spin, Steve, but the policy of regime change in Iraq was started by....Bill Clinton. You folks' hero. But I guess bombing aspirin factories is the left's idea of a "good war".

ROF. I would challenge you to list them, but I think we may have a word limit. So, I'll take your word for it.

LOL. I'm not a fan, but I could not think of 30 reasons. You outdid yourself.

I upped it to 30 reasons I hate Fox. Funny on how many people commented on, "how can you possibly only think of 20".

We may not be able to impeach Fox...unfortunately, BUT we could set journalistic standards! The press is covered by the Constitution for good reason, it is a necessary element to a healthy democracy. Therefore, they should be required to serve the public in exchange for their protection - don't you think? it doesn't mean the end of pundits, it just means that the public will have a CLEAR idea of where they are choosing to get their info from, and what standards the journalists'/pundits' work is required to fulfill.

I'm sure your right. As you may have summized, I'm not a regular viewer for obvious reasons, and Fox in the morning is what I remembered. Incorrectly as it was. I'll be sure to fix it. The comments I've gotten seem to share your view that I set the bar way too low as far as only 20 reasons to detest Fox. I'll have to work on that. Can we impeach Fox???? It's rather an attractive idea. Kuchinich's plan will probably go nowhere, but it's way cool. I like to see a Democrat with some guts, even if he is a little crazy.

JusttheFactsMa-am wrote on Jun 11, 2008 at 2:44PM

How did you limit this list to a mere 20? Is "Fox in the morning" actually "Fox & Friends"? That's what they call it here anyway - just seeing the show's promos drives me crazy! When Kucinich read the 35 articles of impeachment a couple days ago (many of them being misleading the public), he could've charged Fox as being responsible for almost every single one as well!

In response to LisaCarey's comment from Jun 11, 2008 at 12:46PM:

Another interesting thing is, I have a couple of friends that work for News Corp, one a producer, the other in PR, and both have told me that Rupert really doesn't like Bush that much. Let's just hope and pray no one informs the current man in the White House that there is oil up in Canada, or we may end up spreading freedom and democracy over the neighboring border.

steve9631 wrote on Jun 11, 2008 at 1:03PM

I forgot about Hannity too. Maybe I do need to rethink such a low figure. 50? 100? 200? 1000 reasons not to become "fair and balanced" before you die?

LisaCarey wrote on Jun 11, 2008 at 12:46PM

of course they are out of touch with reality, their owner is buddy buddy with Bush... but doesn't that jerk O'Reilly get more than one feature on here? :-) Very nice list, and I am surprised you stopped at 20!

In response to Telpher's comment from Jun 10, 2008 at 4:58PM:

Yeah, they're totally a bummer. I need to add more to my list. Do you think 200 reasons to hate Fox news is enough?

Telpher wrote on Jun 10, 2008 at 4:58PM

I'm a moderate, and I can't stand Fox "News" for the same reasons you list. It's junk tv in every way, and not even fun junk!

SpokaneMan wrote on Jun 10, 2008 at 4:45PM

You could only come up with 20? ;)

steve9631 wrote on Jun 10, 2008 at 4:39PM

Wow...my first comment is a positive one! Thank you Mark. Historically when I go a "right bashing", they come out of the wood work. Much appreciated.

Wow...they REALLY think Bush is a good president?!???? I didn't think *ANYBODY* could be that out-of-touch with reality.
