Four Moons brings an exceptional fine dining atmosphere to an area which is destined to see much expansion in the near future. Knowing nothing other than word of mouth reviews, I decided to take a trip with my family to Four Moons, and I was... for lack of a better word... impressed with the chef's tastes and creativity with the menu. Many combinations of unique flavors are found on the menu (such as the Pan Roasted Duck Breast which came with forest mushrooms, golden raisins, and a trio of root vegetables). Four Moons is a newly opened restaurant in Orangeburg, South Carolina. It offers South Carolinians a chance to experience a truly gourmet experience! While Orangeburg has its share of restaurants, nothing quite compares to Four Moons. With delectable fine dining and incredible service, Four Moons puts itself atop the list of Fine Dining for locations both near and far. The architectural design inside is out of this world, and it really helps add to the elegant atmosphere you find yourself in. Surprising, outstanding, a true gourmet experience. Chef does a remarkable job with preparation and presentation. Very chic decor and atmosphere, could be a hip, fine dining establishment in a major city. The staff is very attentive and professional. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for a true fine dining experience.

I recently visited Four Moons Restaurant and Phases Moon Bar and I was very surprised at the "gem" I found in Orangeburg. I live in Downtown Columbia and never would have guessed that Orangeburg would have such an upscale, urban type of restaurant. We had a few drinks in Phases Moon Bar and decided to order something off the menu. The food on the bar menu is served tapas style. I had the Beef Tenderloin on goat cheese and it was absolutely incredible! I also tried the Truffle Fries, which were the best! I also tasted the lamb with blue cheese ice cream. Growing up in Columbia, and going to school at College of Charleston, I have been lucky enough to experience some fine dining in my life, however, never have I been to a restaurant quite like Four Moons. I heard hype of this new restaurant located in Orangeburg, and I finally decided to follow the recommendations and try it for myself. As soon as I arrived, I was greeted by two lovely hostesses who immediately told me that my reserved table was ready, and I was walking down the short hallway with a color changing waterfall at the end. I was on business in Orangeburg and overheard a client talking about the new fine dining restaurant in town.  Being very sceptical about fine dining in a smaller southern town I had to ask the name.  "Four Moons" was the answer an boy am I glad I had the time to check it out.  I snuck into the bar first because I was worried about what I would find inside.  I was instantly transported to an upscale, metropolitan, swanky bar.  I couldn't beleive my eyes.  I asked for a drinklist and a menu and was greeted with a smile and a suggestion of martini off their martini list.  I searched the menu... review »

The atmosphere, presentation of food and service was excellent
eating out weekly, health conscious, seafood lover, Frequent Diner, into trying new things, appreciate nice things, married

Four Moons restaurant was very clean, the service attendants extremely helpful with the menu and wine list.  We recommend it for a quiet and great evening of good food, good atmosphere and relaxation.  For the area it is a little pricey but worth the drive.
