A must have for parents of 3-4 young children

4

We were blessed with a child and thirteen months later with two more.  The twins were small enough that we could lay them side by side in a stroller together, but as they all got bigger two strollers would not suffice.  Three strollers would be too much.  I had tried a few different triple strollers but they were either too long or too wide to be of good use.  I found out about the Foundations Quad Stroller from a daycare worker and looked into it, about choked when I looked at the price tag.  I was lucky enough to find one that was used for a few years by another mom of multiples.  It was still in great shape!  It fit through doors!  We used three of the seats for the kids and the fourth seat for the diaper bag and other stuff we had to lug around with the kids.  We used it for 2 years and passed before we passed it on to another family with young children.  It was still in great shape when we passed it on.  The handle that locks the wheels when not gripped is a great safety feature - no stroller roll-away.  Down side - large & bulky.  It won't fit in a car trunk, but fit great in the back of our van and our SUV.

Foundations Quad Stroller - very heavy!

3

I have 4 children, all within 3 years of each other.  I was extremely excited to get this stroller because I could fit all of them in one stroller.  I saved up because they are a little expensive.  When we received the stroller, it was a little difficult to put together.  It also was very heavy.  The stroller itself weighed over 50 lbs, so when I put my kids in there it was a lot of weight to push.  It also didn't fold down as flat as I thought it would. This stroller would be great for a daycare or if would just wanted it to walk about your neighborhood, not for transporting.

Not worth the price

We were giving our Foundations Quad stroller as a gift when I was pregnant with my third child.  My other two children were three years and eighteen months.  I had heard good things about this stroller and it was one of the only multiple strollers on the market that folded up.  It does comfortably accomodate three children, but the cons outweigh the pros.  It's very wide and barely fits through most doors in public.  It's difficult to turn. It took a very long time to put together, even for my handy-man husband.  The mechanisms are not intuitive or simple, like the ones on the Graco strollers.  And, frankly, for the price, it's not very durable.  It was being sold through a daycare suppliers, so I expected it to be able to stand up to a lot.  Within the first week of having it, the wire supports on the footrests for the front seat snapped off.  It's also very difficult to turn and in general requires a lot of upper body strength to push.  For the money, try to find something better quality.

These are nice to have

My friend has 5 kids and she has one of these they are really nice to have!! Im not sure if this is the one that turns into a carseat but them are the ones she has and if i was to ever have more than a couple kids i'd be for sure to get this type of stroller!! My friend said they are the best thing when they go on walks and leave cause it holds all her kids when they go walking but one but she walks and when they leave to go somewhere the seats turn into a carseat so it's 2-in-one. These are a good idea to get and are great to have!!
