Forgetting Sarah Marshall Review Summary

Forgetting Sarah Marshall is "very funny, charming, and witty. A wonderful surprise!" From Judd Apatow, the same producer that brought us Pineapple Express, Step Brothers, Superbad, Knocked Up, and many others, this film once again utilizes the comedic acting talents of Jonah Hill and Paul Rudd, and also features Kristen Bell and Mila Kunis. Reviewers agree they "could not stop laughing" during Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a film about a guy that goes on vacation to forget his breakup with his girlfriend and ends up at the same resort as her and her new beau. Reviewers "recommend it to anyone who has ever been dumped." Forgetting Sarah Marshall does include some nudity, prompting reviewers to caution it's not something the kids should be watching.

Did someone get me drunk or slip something into my bottled water and drag me into this low-brow flavor of the week, Judd Apatow produced film?

Did I lose a bet?

No.  I heard it was a very funny movie and once in a while, I will go see a movie simply to be entertained and laugh.   Usually when I decide...

This movie has to be right up at the top of the worst movie ever list.  Jason and his full frontal shots are definitely more forgettable than memorable.  I heard him on an interview say that this movie is somewhat autobiographical.  No wonder he can't get a woman to stay with him.  I am not a prude... read full review »

When I heard about Forgetting Sarah Marshall, I thought it would be hilarious. While it had a few funny parts, it just wasn't that great. I was happy that I saw the movie, but I would probably not purchase the DVD.  Let me tell you a little about the movie.

It is about a guy who breaks up with a girl after a long relationship.  He is having quite a hard time getting over her, and his friends recommend that he gets out of town on vacation to get his mind off of her.  What he doesn't know is that when he arrives at his vacation destination, his ex was vacationing there herself with her new significant...

This movie was so hilarious and one of the better movies I've seen in a long time. It's right up there in my top 5 favorite comedies ever! I thought Mila Kunis was realy great in it and I was worrie das to to how she would be outside of That 70's show. I love that th eprodcer keep the same group of actors throughout all thier movies and they alternate between big and small roles. They are all so hilarious!!! I am definitely buting this one when it comes out on DVD.

This was a movie worth paying to see.  It made me laugh and it was also an all around  good story.  I would recomend it to anyone who has ever had been dumped or has had to "forget" or getover someone.  There was some nudity so i wouldn't bring the kids but overall it was hilarious!

Having an in-house movie night, my hubby  and I watched "Forgetting Sarah Marshall." I have yet to see the other movies by the same guys like "The 40-Year-Old Virgin" nor "Knocked Up," this movie makes me want to see these previous comedies!

I'm one who really appreciates a sense of humor because, as I heard the fabulous Canadian comedian, Mike Myers once say, "to be enlightened is to lighten up." I love comedies and comedians that make me laugh at the dysfunction in everyday life.

My latest favorite comedy is still "Eurotrip" and I compare other movies to it based on the amount...

Jason Segel is amazing. We saw him in "Knocked Up" but "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" is going to give you a whole new perspective to him.... a really whole new perspective. Kristen Bell plays his just recently new ex girlfriend and Mila Kunis (That 70's Show) is the hotel receptionist who is about to shake things up. It's wild, sexy, and hilarious.

This movie was one of the funniest movies I have seen in a VERY long time!  The acting was spot on, a young, full cast, just an overall fun time.  It had parts that would REALLY surprise you (dont want to give anything away...lol) and then parts that actually made you feel what the character was feeling.  I would see it again and again!

This is the best movie I have seen all year! I was laughing constantly! Went to see it for my 21st birthday with several friends and I'm so glad I did! This is a great movie for a group of friends who just want to get out! I was however shocked by the Nudity so I don't recommend it for viewers under 18 (or for those who aren't mature).

If you love movies Waiting, Super Troopers, and other comedies such as these then you will love Forgetting Sarah Marshall.  Laughed all the way through and the songs in the movie are hilarious.  Not one for the kids to be around when you watch it does have full male frontal nudity and its not exactly pretty.
