ForestAir 13-06033 Dehumidifier Review

The ForestAir model 13-06033 dehumidifier is an energy efficient (EnergyStar rated) dehumidifier that is perfect for medium to large rooms and certainly makes the area more comfortable to live in and helps deter tne growth of mold and mildew. The maximum area size that this unit can support, according to the manual, is 2000 square feet and it can remove moisture from the air at a rate of 30 pints per day. The tank capacity is 1.5 gallons which is a bit small and for humid conditions could require frequent emptying of the tank. However, there is the option of using continuous drainage to an external drain. The unit is on wheels and can be moved from room to room.

There are three modes of operation:

• Normal - fan speed is low and dehumidifies according to the humidity level setting
• Turbo - fan speed is high and dehumidifies according to the humidity level setting
• Continue - continuous dehumidifying

I usually set the humidity level to 60% and leave the dehumidifier in normal operation mode.
