Ford Windstar Cargo - 2003 Review

I purchased my Ford Windstar brand new and haven't regretted it since. Over 70,000 miles and still running great, knock on wood! I did my research before the purchase and found one with only the options I wanted. One of those options was dual climate control. With the extended length of a minivan I think the dual climate control is a must. If you only have a front system, trying to cool or heat the back without freezing or scorching out the passengers in front is impossible. Ford could make some improvements to the climate control because it is difficult to regulate. I am always adjusting it. Another improvement Ford could have made was seat storage. I really like the idea of folding down the seat into a compartment, or even having seats that are easier to move would have been useful. If I want to take a seat out for more cargo storage I have to ask my husband to do it because the seats are too heavy for me to manage. Perhaps I'm a wimp! Overall I would buy a Windstar again and wish Ford had a minivan option still available.
