Ford Taurus - 2008 —

I was very pleasantly suprised by the new body style of the 2008 Taurus - It has the look of the classier models car with a nice interior and good features. Space in the car's interior and truck are optimal and it sits at a nice heigt for those of us with lower back problems. It was pretty peppy when it needed to be and was comfortable drive after I got used to the drivers seat moving on it's own when I put the key in or took it out. However, after test driving the Taurus for a week and driving both long distance and local errands, I was pleased with the gas mileage and the overall comfort, but was constantly perplexed by the controls in the car. It was difficult and time consuming to figure out the heating/air system as well as the controls for the radio and the additional controls for both the cruise control and radio/gps/satellite radio/phone controls that are ALL located on the steering wheel. Although I think Ford did a great job with upgrading the look and style, I think they could have done a better job with the inside conveniencies.
