We got this car after we had our second child.  It has quite a bit of room even with cars seats and children's 'stuff' everywhere.  We got it with only 16,000 miles on it and then i wrecked it when it had 63,000 miles on it.  We never had to take it in for any repairs, just routine maintenance.

I'm a pretty tall girl (5'10") and my husband is 6'4" and had plenty of headroom.

One thing i love about it (now) is how safe it turned out to be.  I rolled my car in a ditch a few weeks ago and me and both of my children walked away unhurt, with only me having a few scratches on my hands.  One window busted out, the seat belts held up wonderfully considering we were all three hanging upside down from them.

We are currently searching for another taurus to replace it.

This car really holds up in an accident. That's why in my family we have 4, 5 if you count the one that got rear-ended while at a stop while the other vehicle was doing 70 plus, the driver only received sore knees.
