My daughter and I were attending a lot of horse shows, and I needed something other than the little Cavalier that I had been driving. We went looking for a small truck. I had two types in mind. The Ford Ranger Edge Stepside was one of them. I tried one that was loaded with all the options, but decided I didn't like it. The following day I found, took home for the weekend, and then bought the few months old, red, extended cab, stepside model that I've been driving ever since!

Had to replace the front pads at 45,000. All in all, a great truck. Just paid it off.
Headlights turn off before the battery dies.
Our 2003 Ford Ranger Edge was purchased new from a local dealer. My husband is the main driver, and we both love this truck for it's practicality and reasonable cost. We started by visiting all the local dealerships to narrow down his choices, and he preferred the Ranger Edge because of the compact size and ease of use as well as basic no-frills cost.
