Search Amazon.com for Ford Mustang - 2007 prices |
On a recent trip to St. Louis, I was pleasantly surprised that my rental car turned out to be a 2007 Ford Mustang convertible. I'm not a fan of convertibles and would have been even more pleased if the car had been a Mustang coupe, but I'm not one to look a gift Mustang in the mouth and happily took the convertible. I put about 110 miles on the car over two days.
What it is
The 2007 Mustang tries to thread an interesting needle by providing a reasonably sporty car that's also reasonably practical and affordable. The base model -- which is called "Deluxe" by Ford -- has a four-liter V6 engine featuring...

2007 - v6 engine, 5-speed manual
Satin Silver exterior; dark charcoal interior
This is a remake design of the late 60's mustang with a great look and a great sporty ride. The manual 5-speed 4.0-liter engine has plenty of get up and go or take off and it felt like it should be a race car.
The power seat on the driver's side has a lumbar adjustment and made for comfortable seating. The radio system has a great sound and has an auxiliary jack for MP3 player or what ever you want to listen to.
Gas mileage has an estimated 26 highway, comparable with other 6 cylinder vehicles that are...
review »We bought this car for my husband, and I try to snag it from him as much as I can!
It has SO much power, you can feel it just turning it on. I like that the seats adjust several ways with 1 button. The gas mileage isn't terrible, actually, just don't floor it all the time.
The back seat is small, but we don't have kids, so it's OK. But it does have hookups for car seats, so that will work when we do have kids.
It's even comfortable for long rides. We took a 6 hour road trip, and weren't all cramped when we got there, a new experience for riding in a car and not an SUV.
The only thing I don't...
review »For anyone out there that wants an awesome car for the money...buy a new mustang! They are hot, go fast (I race at our drag-strip), and no matter who you are, you will look good in this car! My family has a love-affair with the mustang. My daughter has had 2, first one at 16, a 5.0, second one at 19 (she also races). My husband drag races a mustang (9.27 seconds in 1/4 mile) and my dad also has a 2000 mustang. Best build car ever, for daily driving or racing! And if you don't believe me, ask John Force, best drag racer ever! His team races 4 of them! Buy one! You will love it!...
review »This is the car that i love the best. Its not that really exspesive and gas mileage is pretty good. It is very roomy for if you have a family like I got. People say that if you have a family you can't ride in style but i say why not.. This car drives like a champ and is pretty quick if you ask me... I would drive this car anywhere I need to go...
