My husband and I bought our first car in 2005; it was a Ford Focus. The cost of the car fit what we could afford, and we liked how smooth it drove during test drives, and the gas mileage was impressive to us. This has been such a reliable little car for us, and the gas mileage is still great. We have had the car for 4 years and have not had to do any major repairs to the car as of yet. The car is also easy to understand, so my husband has been able to replace the brakes and machine the rotors himself, which makes owning the car on a tight budget even easier. Our monthly payments are very reasonable,... review »

I LOVE MY FORD FOCUS, I HAVE ALWAYS HAD A PROBLEM FITING MY LEGS IN A CAR, THE SEAT WAS NEVER FAR ENOUGH BACK, MY LEGS WERE ALWAYS CRAMPED. THIS CAR GIVES ME THE ROOM I NEED, I SIT BACK AT LEAST 10 INCHES FROM THE STEERING WHEEL, WHICH I LIKE THE MOST. MY LEGS ARE NEVER CRAMPED ANYMORE. THIS IS THE FIRST CAR IN WHICH I HAVE AIR CONDITION, I NEVER THOUGHT I NEEDED IT, BUT WOW I LOVE IT, I GUESS WHEN YOU GET OLDER YOU APPRECIATE THINGS LIKE THIS, BECAUSE YOU HAVE NEVER HAD IT BEFORE. THIS IS A VERY VERY CONFORTABLE CAR. I GET GREAT GAS MILEAGE & A THE CAR IS SILVER & IS EASY TO KEEP CLEAN. I THINK... review »

I absolutely love my 2005 Ford Focus SE. It drives smooth and with the high gas prices I save a whole lot compare to others. I enjoy the ride when i am on the interstate it can hold its own with the big boys on the road and I can keep up with everyone else. it has great sound system, it keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I am not a machanic so I cant tell you all about the engine, i just know it is a very pleasant and enjoyable ride and it has yet to give me any problems.

When I first bought my car a few years ago I was curious about the gas mileage and how much I would truly get. Now, I only fill up once a week if that and love driving it. It is also great for parking in small places!

We have enjoyed our Focus wagon. It is an economical way to cart around our 2 young children. It is easy to handle and park, yet it provides tons of cargo area for our inevitable trips to the Warehouse club and grocery store. We bought ours used last year for around 10,000 dollars with just over 15,000 miles. We haven't had any problems with it so far. Our one major gripe is that it does not have cruise control. This is only an issue on long trips though, and we rarely drive long distances in this car. Another major advantage is that the climate controls are very effective and quick to cool or... review »

This is the best little car I have ever owned. I have had a few small cars in the past but this one is the best.

Where I live you must travel at least 17 to 27 miles to reach a larger city. I drive over 80 miles a day to and from work, not to mention miles driven while in the city. I get over 34 miles per gallon which now days is great. I never have to worry about the gas prices being that I have a twelve gallon tank and the miles I receive from the fill up.

It is very comfortable to ride in and drive. My husband is over 6 foot tall and has no problems at all. He especially loves it because it has...

I absolutely love my 2005 Ford Focus.  I do have the ZX3 SE model so mine did come with Cruise Control and auto windows and locks.   It is fun to drive and I can usually get close to 30 MPG with city driving.  It just depends on the weather.   It's a zippy little drive and very roomy for being a small car.  Mine's considered a 3 door (two doors and hatchback).  The backseat is easy to get down for more cargo room and will hold alot if you have to haul something bigger.

The only problem with owning a Ford is getting warranty work done. They will do anything to avoid honoring their warranty.
