I absolutely love my 2005 Ford Focus SE. It drives smooth and with the high gas prices I save a whole lot compare to others. I enjoy the ride when i am on the interstate it can hold its own with the big boys on the road and I can keep up with everyone else. it has great sound system, it keeps me warm in the winter and cool in the summer. I am not a machanic so I cant tell you all about the engine, i just know it is a very pleasant and enjoyable ride and it has yet to give me any problems.
