Until my youngest daughter bought this Ford Focus ZX3, I always prefered Imports like Toyota and Mazda.  I enjoy our travel in her Ford Focus.  It is unique - she did say she purchased a "Program Car" with many options that are not found in other Focus even in the 2008 model.  We have driven to and from San Francisco many times in this little car.  The mileage is excellent for a fully loaded (with luggage and baby gear) car with 4 passengers and going at an average of 65 mph - we can actually get from the LAX area (where we live) to Marin County (where we have family too) on ONE TANK of gas.  One time, we (well, my daughter does the driving) actually drove the car for 13-hours non-stop, other than for gas.
Now that my grandson is getting bigger, it's time for my daughter to upgrade to a bigger vehicle as well - putting Jason in his car seat in a 2-door hatchback can be very hard on your back eventually.  My daughter is the only person who can put Jason in his car seat in this car because she is not tall either.
The car has a Sunroof, Moonroof, 6-CD in dash player, power locks, power windows, bucket seats, automatic transmission, cruise control, tilt steering column, spoiler, and 17 inch alloy wheels.  The engine is a "Big 4" (almost 5-cylinder).  The comparable Focus model to my daughter's car would be the 2008.
