ford expedition alt not a at all ehat i expected in a suv

The ford expedition xlt is not a what it appears to be as far as luxury. The heating in the suv is not sufficint fot winter time use. It goes out all the time. The air condition works sometimes on hot summer days . but most of the time its better just to roll done the windows for a breath of hot summer air..The windows are power and the motoer on the windows goes out at least once a year. This is buy far the worst vechicle that was ever made in my opinion. I say this if you want a reliable suv that is worth the price that you are paying for it by all means don't buy this one you spend more... read full review »

Love the room, hate the gas mileage!

The Expedtion is very spacious and comfortable for our family of 4. There is seating for 8 which is great if you carpool! It is also helpful that the 3rd row folds down or can be removed entirely when traveling and you need to pack a lot of stuff. The 2nd row also folds flat which gives 6-8 feet of space for really big items. The gas mileage isn't that great, about 12-13 miles/gallon. At the highest point it was almost $100 to fill the car every 10-12 days depending on the amount of driving I was doing. Thankfully gas has started to come down in price and a full tank costs about $60.
