This is a great vehicle if you need or want a larger vehicle-this is a small SUV. We get roughly 30 plus miles per gallon which is outstanding for a vehicle this size. The engine is a tad noisy-has the "Ford truck" sound especially when accelerating uphill or on the highway. The electric battery kicks in shutting off the engine when you stop and you can accelerate slowly up to about 30 miles per hour before the engine comes back on. The 2007 Ford Escape Hybrid. If you're concerned about gas mileage but like driving an SUV, the Ford Hybrid Escape is a great choice! This is our 1st Hybrid and we're very pleased with it. Lots of cargo space with the flat folding rear seats. Very comfortable seating. Nice size as I'm only 5 foot tall and some other SUV's just don't accomodate short legs:) Very sporty looking and the Navigation system, 6 CD player system and Blue tooth technology just adds the icing on the cake!
