I got my new Escape in October.  Living in rural Wisconsin a vehicle like this is a MUST.  I traded in my van for this.  I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS VEHICLE.  I can't say enough good about it.  The Escape will go through any amount of snow.  Because I have a commute on major highways, I knew that it was time to trade in the van for something with better ground clearance.  My husband drove it during a snowstorm recently and was pleasantly surprised at how well it handled.  Track control is a wonderful feature.  Sadly, we didn't get the 4 wheel drive and I do wish we would have.  I will definately think about it for the next Escape.

At the time we purchased this, Ford was offering the Moon & Tune package.  I got a moonroof and a one year subsricption to Sirius satalite radio.  I will never again go back to local radio.  Satalite is fantastic.  We had the same radio station on all the way accross the state.  The reception is incredible.

My Escape is Vista Blue and I get more compliments on the color.  I have almost all the options.  I also love the blue dashboard lights, auto dimming rearview mirrow and the auto matic headlamp feature.  No more forgetting to turn my lights off!  I also have the audio jack where if I buy a special cable I can run my MP3 player through the car's stereo system.  I read how to do it in the owners manual but it still sounds pretty complicated so I don't think that will be a useful feature for me.

If I had to give some complaints they would be this.  I wish it got better gas mileage.  I got way better mileage with my van and that was a 2003. Second, I wish that when you fold down the seats, you didn't need to take the back seat head rests off to do it.  Whenever we do this, we stick the headrests in the pockets on the back of the front seats but I don't like doing that.  I wish that we could put them in the floor somehow.    But, these things are so minor that they wouldn't stop me from buying another one.
