budget conscious, appreciative of good service, willing to pay for quality
Someone who is as nearsighted as I should always carry a spare pair of eyeglasses, just in case, but this is a lesson I have never really embraced. So I was in big trouble one day at the office years ago when a tiny screw popped out and suddenly what was left of my glasses were dangling from only one ear. Thank God, we just happened to be located a block from one of the For Eyes Optical locations in the Loop and I groped my way over there, fully prepared to pay someone to repair my glasses. — Imagine my surprise when they said that it was a For Eyes policy…

My husband and I purchased eye glasses from Sears .They were the worst glasses we have ever gotten.the customer service was awful.then they closed the eye department where we live so we had to go to Pearl Vision to fix them Sears told us to go there .Was very dissapointed in…

For Eyes is known for providing a cheap glasses but beware-you get what you pay for. Rather than providing market-tested, well-know products, they opt for "last season" frames (which can be purchased in bulk at discounted rates) or "homemade," and their inexpensive lenses can be upgraded to have their own ineffective coatings. Furthermore, employees are heavily discouraged fro selling the well promoted "2 for $99" glasses so expect a long, high-pressure sales pitch if you intend to purchase there.
