Most HelpfulA friend of mine told me this movie wasn't worth paying to see in the theater and to wait until it came out on dvd.
My boyfriend has wanted to see this movie since we saw the first preview at another movie.
We saw this movie last night and we both really liked it. There were some really funny scenes,...

I could'nt wait for this to come out. I thought that the chemistry between Matthew and Kate in How To Lose A Guy In 10 Days was fantastic. I was so pumped when I knew that they'd be working together again.
The first 20 minutes was Matthew topless who could not like that. I think that the surfer look works for him. For us this was non-stop laughs. There wasn't a whole lot of swearing or anything which I felt was refreshing in a PG13 movie.
Donald Sutherland was very refreshing in his role as well. For us, it was non stop laughs. I can hardly wait for these 2...
review »This movie was awful. There were so many scenes that were just plain stupid, not funny at all, and had no point to the plot. It was like the producers hired Kate and Matthew to do a tropical treasure flick then pulled someone off the street and told them to write a script. The character of Gemma is supposed to be a ditz but they go so above and beyond with her idiotic lines that I wanted the girl to get shot. Finn's character is supposed to be a bit of a dopey hopeless romantic and he seemed just plain dopey (and his hair looked like crap, too--it was distracting). Even the adorable...
review »I saw this this past frozen spring when all I wanted to do was hop down to the Carribbean and bask in the warmth. That was lucky for me, since this movie was all about scenery and went light on plot. But then again, it was a Matthew McConaughy film, whaddya expect- certainly not Shakespeare!!
The beaches and water shots were beautiful (even if they were shot in Australia, not the Carribbean). It was a feel-good movie for just this reason. Donald Sutherland is always a treat to watch, though, and his multimillionare character was probably the best all around.
I'd reccommend this movie, but only...
review »I am a huge fan of Kate Hudson, but this was definitely not one of her better movies. Kate & Matthew have great chemistry together, but the movie bored me to tears.
