The Foodsaver vacuum sealer system is a must have for every household that is interested in saving money on their family's food costs or just keeping food fresher for longer periods of time. I have vacuumed packed everything from meat to spices to dehydrated fruits and vegetables to fresh fruits and vegetables for the freezer. I just took a great buy and extended its freezer life to up to a year. You can also take bargain frozen vegetables, dehydrate them--and you just extended a one-year freezer life to up to ten years.

Bags can be re-used if it did not have meat in it. Just cut close to the seal.
