Crispy Sweet Potato Chips

By

from Torrance, CA

Comments about Food Should Taste Good - Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips:

I have been looking for alternative snacks that are better for you in terms of nutritional value. I had a Food Should Taste Good coupon and bought the Sweet Potato Chips. I did not know what to expect but I was amazed with the taste. The chip was crispy with a sweet potato flavor. Each serving is 140 calories with 80 mg of sodium and 3 grams of fiber.

Great combination of salty and sweet

By

from Elburn, IL

Comments about Food Should Taste Good - Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips:

I love sweet potatoes in any form. These sweet potato tortilla chips by Food Should Taste Good are great! These are all natural chips, no chemical additives. I like them for snack chips, but they are sturdy enough, that you could dip them or put a spread on them. A serving size is about 12 chips for 140 calories and 15 net carbs. If you like Sun Chips, you will probably like these. They are seasoned with sea salt, providing the salty sweet taste. I like salty sweet combinations. I got a Facebook coupon for a free bag, and this was smart marketing on the part of Food Should Taste Good, because I never heard of this brand before, and now will buy this product, and try some of their other varieties. The ingredients are stone gound corn, high oleic sunflower oil and /or safflower oil, sweet potato, corn bran, evaporated cane juice and sea salt. On another note, for each bag sold, they donate 5 cents to Share Our Strength, a national organization dedicated to eliminating childhood hunger in America. Gotta love that.

Food Should Taste Good - Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips

By

from Long Island, NY

Comments about Food Should Taste Good - Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips:

I've been wanting to try these chips for a while after reading about them a few times.  Finally found them on sale so i bought the sweet potato ones.  These are really good and you can't just eat a few.  They have a nice crunch to them.  They also have a nice sweet taste to them.  You really can eat them just as they are because they have a nice salty sweet taste.  I have only eaten them plain so I can't say how they taste with anything on them.  I have only seen them available in the 6 oz. size in the grocery store.  I would like to see them available in single serving sizes because once you open the bag, it is hard to eat just one serving size.  They are a little pricey, so I only buy them on occasion when there is a sale and/or coupon.

Amazing healthy snack!

By

from Stafford, VA

Comments about Food Should Taste Good - Sweet Potato Tortilla Chips:

I tried these on a whim after 2 years of outlawing most junk food (specially potato chips) from coming in the house. I decided I wanted some chips and saw these in the organic section of the grocery store and picked them up based on their nutrition label.

Each serving is only 6 grams of fat compared to a serving of pringles that has 11. Most importantly I noticed the ingredient's. I have a rule if you can pronounce everything in the ingredient list then I can buy it. This is an all natural snack with multi grains, sea salt and natural sugars.

The chips them selfs are just the right amount of sweet and salty. I know I said that this was a healthy snack, however I don't think that's the case when I polish off a whole bag in one sitting with out realizing it. That's how addicting and good these things are. Next time I will need to portion these out. It was very easy to finish the bag and think "that's it, where is the rest?"
