I am addicted to the Food Network.  I don't really watch television, but I do watch Food Network.  I love watching the great recipes and foods my favorite chefs like Rachael Ray, Giada DeLaurentiis, Paula Deen, and Bobby Flay can cook up.  This website is great because you can get information on your favorite chefs and their recipes.  Just yesterday I was watching Semi-Homemade with Sandra Lee and she made the best cupcakes.  So I just logged onto Foodnetwork.com and found the recipe to make myself.  If you aren't sure of the times your favorite shows are on, they have an easy to read television... review »

I love finding new things to cook, especially things out of my usual comfort zone.  The Food Network really helps me here and it's not unusual for me to have it on if I'm in the house during the day.  And, if I'm in the kitchen it's even more likely.

Many of you know my love of Rachael Ray.  Her 30-Minute Meals have armed me with a vast collection of quick meals I can draw on at a moments notice.  But I have lots Food Network Chefs that I've grown to love.  Paula, Giada, Ina, Bobby and Aida all add new dimensions to my kitchen.

If you love the Network, you just have to love the web-site.  Here...

Food Network is a resource of entertainment, cooking ideas, and tips and tricks.  I have become a much more adventurous cook because of this channel.

I was an 18 year old bride, who basically knew how to reheat things :D  Now I make shepherd's pie, and mexican creamy pasta, and crispy tofu stirfry... and most of these recipes I have come up with on my own based on increasing knowledge of the science and art of cooking.

Food Network has been a huge part of that.

From a purely "entertainment" standpoint, who hasn't bitten their nails during a Food Network challenge, watching a 50 pound cake being...

The Food Network is the best entertainment on television. Who knew that watching people cook and travle could be so much fun?

Guy Fieri has a show called Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives. He has taken us many places and I have learned of so many great places to dine even in my general area.

Bobby Flay is the grill master extraordaire! I have watched him create the most incredible dishes on Throwdown With Bobby Flay. He may lose but he may win. Howevewr it goes, we learn different methods of preparing the same dish.

I can't leave out Paula Dean, The Butter Queen, on Paula's Home Cooking. Paula invites...

We would be lost without the Food Network.  I \t is informative as well as a good source  for recipes.  Even if we are not currently watching tv, I have the Food network on in the background, you never know when that great idea will pop up!

I have been watching the Food Network now for about 10 years.  I have collected many, many, ideas and recipes from many of the shows on the Food Network.  Rachael Ray is my favorite show and I have several of her cookbooks.  I even have a signed copy.  One of the best recipies I have from Rachael is stuffed shells with a meat stuffing.  My family raves every time that I make them.  The best thing about the recipe is that they are very easy also.  More recently I have been watching Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy.  Guy has come to the Pittsburgh area to show some of our diners.  That...

There needs to be more practical shows like Paula Deen, Alton Brown and the Neely's . They make real world type foods that women are interested in after work. Far Too much Iron Chef especially in the evening hours when you just want something practical to cook. I love cooking shows, but Food Network is all about celebrity personality. I used to think Rachael Ray was the worst with her lame made-up words and neurotic tendency to laugh after everything she says, but I can actually sit through one of her shows and, yes, I have picked up a few quick-cooking tips (but rarely ever a whole recipe....she's...

Do I like Food Network? Yes.  I find much of it helpful and practical.  I get great ideas and tips from the cooks.  And I enjoy the travel features that help me seek out restaurants and foodie type stores when we are traveling.  But I don't care for all the challenges and "reality" type shows.  It gets to be a bit too much, see ing the cowboy cookoff, and the cake decorating contest, and the next food star type of shows.  I'm seeing there a contrived challenge that doesn't really affect my cooking.  Truthfully, I like having episodes such as Paula Deen, Rachel Ray, Sandra Lee, etc.  where...

Over this last Thanksgiving holiday I often turned to FoodNetwork.com for recipe ideas and a couple of very good instructional videos on how to "truss" a Turkey and how to best carve a turkey.  We cooked a 24 pounder and I put the MacBook on the counter and followed every step of the trussing video to great success.

I also happen to be a big fan of the Barefoot Contessa and many if not all of her recipes are on the Food Network site.  Even though we have all of her cookbooks I still like to print them out when I go to the grocery store.

I find that FoodNetwork.com works very well for me. ...

The Foodnetwork is awesome! All of there chefs are absolutely amazing! Foodnetwork online has a very user friendly site. You can search for any recipe by any Chef. They also have an online recipe box for you to store your favorite recipes in. I use them daily! It is such a help to go and find my fav recipes as ease. They offer great information about kitchen products, food safety and of course food recipes. Love it!

In the past I searched the food network website and was able to see the restaurants that had been visited by a show with a link to the show and information about the restaurant.  That seems completely missing from the new website format and since I am not a cook, the recipes are a waste of time for me.  I just like visiting new restaurants when I visit new cities.

I love watching food network.  some shows are better than others, but its fun to watch.  Watch the show called "chopped"... they have to make a full course meal with the strangest things.  My husband an di like to guess what they will make and think of how we would do it.

I love the food network.  It is always on in my house.  When I don't know what to make for dinner I just turn it on and I get plenty of ideas.  Most recipies I try from them are great!  My favorite is Paula Deen but I like many others on there too.
