I love Paula Deen too.  I don't have any of her books, but, I always watch her shows and make her recipes.  I even wrot a review about one of her products.  I am afraid that if I continue cooking like her, I'll have the highest cholesterol in the world. LOL

Paula Dean is an inspiration to women everywhere. She was once a lady who was afraid to leave the house. Look at Paula now!

I do not have any of her books but, thoroughly enjoy her show. She is a very lively and entertaining lady. The Butter Queen has a unique cooking method.

I do love Paula Dean, but I worry about her and the way she cooks. Yes, delicious recipes, but her cholesterol has got to be high. I love her shows and feel they are very intertaining but butter queen is definitely her title. She made a dip one day that was a heartattack waiting to happen.

I wish I could meet Paula Deen.  It probably would kill me, but, it would be worth it.

When I first heard her voice on TV she said the word "sammich" at that point on everytime I make a sammich it makes me think of her.. She's delightful but agreed that her cholesterol has got to be high. I love her though and have her pot and pan set and love it too!

I tried one of her store-bought Gooey butter cakes and it was wonderful.  I think it made me gain 20 pounds.

Did someone say "BUTTER", I love Paula Dean. And yes, she is definately the Butter Queen. But i'll take Butter over Margarine anyday! It's not man made and processed. Just add some EVOO!! ....lol...(Extra Virgin Olive Oil). The good has to outway the bad....lol...

Walmart carries Paula Deen cookware, tools and food.  There's a ham for almost $30.  I love Paula Deen, but refuse to pay that much for a ham just because her picture is on it.

I haven't purchased any items from Emeril, Paula, or Rachael Ray. Really what you are paying for is the name. There are plenty of similiar products out that just as good, if not better. I look at it, as I was checking into Cash for Clunkers...The salesperson asked what are you looking for....I said I'm a Levi type...I don't need the Guess or the Gucci....She said she never heard it put into terms like that, she did appreciate it. Give me the basics. Don't need the fancy stuff. We put together our own Paula Dean spices together, same with Emeril's Essence. Found it on the Foodnetwork site...Had all the spices made for far less then the price in the stores. Far too expensive just because of a face. That's not to say I don't think they have neat cookware and gadgets, they do. Just look for the best bang for my buck, more in these times of money watching.

I like the way she cooks.  I just know that if I copy her, I have to do it in moderation.

So I thought... okay.. who is this Paula Dean.  And I went to her website and saw her talking about wrapping macaroni with bacon, covering it with cracker crumbs and deep frying the concoction and I thought... oh that looks very unhealthy.. but it looks very good  and then my heart burst through my chest and started bouncing on the floor toward the door screaming.. Oh heck no.. that's it.. I am out of here.......

I took alot for her to get where she is today, I give her "HIGH FIVES". Overcame alot. Where there is a will, there is a way! Got to indulged once in awhile.

We're going to try her pumpkin cheescake recipe for Thanksgiving. Most of her dishes are way too decadent but I still like watching her show. That Georgia accent keeps getting thicker and thicker. Love it!

I love it.  My heart told me to try a few of her recipes.  It's a glutton for punishment.  Her stuff is good, but I can see it being deadly if not eaten with precision.

I like her and have one of her cookbooks. Although, I have yet to make anything from it, its nice to have it. Maybe someday I'll use it.

I watched her Thanksgiving dinner special this week and couldn't believe what I was seeing. Her show should have one of those "don't attempt this at home" disclaimers. They should rename it "Man Vs. Cholesterol."  I view it for entertainment purposes but for actual recipes I like the Barefoot Contessa or even Rachel Ray.
