How do you eat your tuna sandwiches?

I grew up eating tuna in sandwich form mixed with lettuce, tomatoes, onion, miracle whip, salt and pepper.    My husband grew up eating tuna in sandwich form with boiled eggs, pickles, onions, mayo, salt and pepper.   I like it both ways, but I perfer the way I grew up!

How do you make yours?  I have seen tuna with celery also.

I love mine with dill relish, mayo and celery. Onions as a topping, not mixed in and if I have them cucumbers as well.

Mmmm! That sounds pretty good, think I will try that! I love celery as a snack but do not use it much in anything else. Cucumbers, that is a new one.

I generally chop the tuna with celery and add mayo.  Once the sandwich is made I like to add lettuce, tomato and red onion.

I always eat my tuna sandwiches the same way - mayo, onion & celery on white bread.

Ever since I saw a report on what is in the tuna fish can I rarely eat tuna but when I do, I like mine made with relish, chopped celery and onion, mixed with mayonnaise. I put some of the mixture between two slices of bread and grill it.  Yummy...

I don't eat tuna very often, but when I do, it's just tuna, mayo, and a little salt and pepper. That's how my mom always made it.  Once in a while I get a tuna sub from Subway and I have them add a little onion and melt Swiss cheese on top and that's pretty yummy.

I like tuna with lemon juice, a little mayo, minced celery and sweet onion, pepper and a little salt. Some chopped red pepper to give it a little more color.

Has to be Albacore. My husband makes it because, for some reason, it tastes better when he does it. All we use is light mayo, a few chopped onions, a little chopped celery and some spices. I sometimes will have a scoop inside of a cantaloupe half or have a sandwich on light whole wheat bread. Much protein. Maybe much mercury. I don't eat tuna much but when I do, I really enjoy it, I have to say.

I guess my Mom did not like tuna. I never had it until I was about 12 and visited an aunt who served me one. Yum. Good stuff. My boys are not fans though, so I seldom make it, but when I do, I make it like chicken or egg salad with mayo, a little pickle relish, fine chopped onions and a little seasoning (various types depending on mood).

I make mine with onions, pickle relish, cayanne pepper mixed with Miracle Whip or mayonnaise. Then top with lettuce and tomatoes. I have served this same mix for a Tuna Melt using whatever cheese that I have on hand. I do, however, prefer Cheddar or American cheese.

Serve with potato chips. Gives everything a different crunch.

I usually make it with just mayo, salt and pepper. (NEVER Miracle Whip----gross!!!!) I occasionally add in celery and onions or a bit of pickle relish just to switch it up, but normally it is plain tuna sandwiches, preferably on rye toast.

I have seen tuna melts, but have been reluctant to try them. I don't know tuna and cheese. I may go ahead and try it those.

I like my tuna straight-up too. Tastes great on a lightly toasted sesame seed bagel with a slice of cheese to cover the bagel hole. Yum.

I make my tuna with Dijon mustard, mayo, celery, pickle, red onion, salt, pepper and celery salt.  It's the best!

It's got to be Hellman's, Albacore, some chopped celery, I use alittle celery salt, lately I've finely chopped scallions in if I have them, or a smidge of red onion. If Vidalla's are in season maybe that. Swiss cheese, lettuce, tomato and alittle Italian dressing on the sandwich. Like alot of sub places do it. I prefer homemade atleast I know what kind of tuna I am using. Now your making me hungry, and I'm not eating that at almost 5:00am.....lol.....

Tuna melts are wonderful! I had my first one in a restaurant but it is really easy to make. Hope you do try this. I believe you will like it.

I use mayonnaise, too. Miracle Whip just has a nice tangy taste. I like a lot of variety.

Mayo, a dollop of mustard (Dijon is best), black pepper, lemon pepper, onion powder and diced garlic dill pickles...on wheat bread with lettuce.

Tuna with diced carrot, diced celery, black pepper, diced pickle, diced egg, and NO mayo; sometimes a little salsa to help it stick together.
