Bigelow - Orange & Spice Herb Tea

Bigelow - Orange & Spice Herb Tea
into natural products, tea drinker, like trying new things, like citrus flavored products

NOV

2009

When the seasons change and it starts to get cold outside, my morning cup of tea gravitates from regular fruit flavors to spiced fruit flavors.  I recently bought Bigelow Orange & Spice Herb Tea and although it isn't as good as other teas in my assortment, it is a nice addition to my regular flavors.

A box of Bigelow Orange & Spice Herb Tea comes with individually wrapped tea bags for freshness.  This tea is all natural and caffeine-free.  I like to steep my tea bags the whole time I drink my tea, not just for a couple minutes.  With that being said, this tea comes out very strong when doing...

Splenda Packets vs. New Splenda with Fiber Packets Is one a clear winner?

Splenda Packets vs. New Splenda with Fiber Packets Is one a clear winner?
a busy person, a spicy food fanatic, into trying new things, not rich, loving this product

I already love Splenda and use it in my coffee every morning so this is just helping me add some extra fiber to my diet. I desperately need the fiber and do not want to pay for Fibersure or eat the chalky puck size tablets that are on the market. This is a simple, not too expensive alternative.

I was a die hard Splenda user prior to receiving my Pure Via sample. I like that Pure Via has natural ingredients, but I had to use 2 packs per cup of coffee where with Splenda, I use only one.

TradeWinds Beverage Co. - Extra Sweet Tea

TradeWinds Beverage Co. - Extra Sweet Tea

NOV

Tradewinds Extra Sweet Tea is excellant. Fresh Brewed, Antioxidants, Southern Style made from the finest tea leaves. The original Kettle Brewed Tea. It's a great taste, just enough sweetness. I like buying the 20fl oz. bottles because the jugs just don't taste as sweet as in the bottles. I don't know why but the jugs always taste different than the plastic smaller bottles. 120 calories per/serving, 2.5 serv. per/bottle. www.tradewinds-tea.com . You can buy it almost anywhere. Walmart doesn't sell the extra sweet which I hate. If you've not tried it and love tea but hate the dark tea you'll love...

OMG!!!! I saw this review and HAD to add that McDonalds Tea is THE BEST! I fell in love with it from the first drop that touched my tongue! If I pass a McDonalds I have to buy one and get a extra one with no ice to take with me! I drink maybe 30 of these a week! Yeah thats bad and a lot but they are highly addictive and taste soooo perfect!!! Some McDonalds don't get it sweet enough so if you don't think its sweet or not that good go to another one before you make up your mind if you like it or not because some do not get the sweetness right and It makes me sooo mad but I do love this tea and its...

La Choy Rice Noodles are this crispy little thin noodle looking things that you put on top of your chinese food. I LOVE these things! My husband thought they were odd and wouldn't try them for years but now that he finalllyyyyy did he loves them and now I can't keep them in the house! They are a blend of wheat and rice flours quick-cooked to a golden brown. You can buy them from anywhere and they only cost a few dollars. If you love chinese food you'll enjoy a sprinkle of these on top. Pick up a container the next time you go to the grocery, if you have kids they will love these. The only way my...

PureVia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener

PureVia All Natural Zero Calorie Sweetener
a healthy cook

NOV

I have tried other sweeteners, but I always found something off-putting about them - bitter, funny aftertaste, unnatural.  PureVia fits the bill as a tasty AND healthy sweetener.  I avoid artifical sweeteners at all costs, not only because they taste strange, but because health professionals do caution against their use.

PureVia is made from Reb A, the sweetest part of the natural stevia plant.  It is more than 200 times sweeter than sugar! It contains almost zero carbs and no calories - 'sounds like a fantasy, but it is true.  There is NO bitter aftertaste.

One packet is like 2 teaspoons...

Birds Eye Thai Stir-Fry Vegetable blend is quick and easy if your a frequent Stir-fry'er like our family. We make Stir-Fry once a week if not more and I love to mix it up by adding a different flavor other than just plain old soy sauce. This comes in a 3lb8oz bag from the frozen food section of your grocery store, its heart healthy and has a resealable zipper. Contents include: Celery, Carrots, Onions, Mushrooms, Snow Peas, Sweet Soybeans, Water Chestnuts, Yellow & Red Peppers, Baby Cob Corn and 2 sauce packets. You take half the bag and add it to your cooked stir-fry meat and let cook for 5 minutes...

I want to talk to you about Pamela's pancake and baking mix.  I have Celiac's disease and for years have tried every gluten free and wheat free product I could find on the market and after tasting what was the equivalent of saw dust for bread I gave up and just went without never thinking I would ever enjoy breads, muffins, cakes and pancakes ever again.  I ran across Pamela's baking mixe's and baked goods on line one day and looked everwhere to find them but I finally did, I coudn't wait to try it but didnt really want to get my hopes up from all the let downs in the past with other products...

Gatorade - Propel Fitness Water in Melon Flavor

Gatorade - Propel Fitness Water in Melon Flavor
thirsty, a casual cook, a healthy cook

NOV

2009

The product is similar to the other propel flavors but there is a vague sweet melon taste. Personally not a big propel fan but from the other choices availabe this is probably my favorite one. Taste leaves something to be desired but overall not bad. Would recommend if you like citrus melon fruit. Light flavor and if you do like you might have to search awhile. Availability of product not in every local supermarket. So prepare to look.

Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil

Kraft Mayo with Olive Oil

NOV

2009

Who said you can't have your diet and eat mayo too?

I'm all for reduced calories and healthy foods.  The problem is that healthy reduced calorie  foods often lack flavor.  Well that cannot be said for Kraft's Mayo with olive oil.  It tastes yummy with just a hint of olive oil flavor.  It would be nice if all brands of mayonaise decided to switch to olive oil.  Normal mayonaise has become a big no no and I've missed it.  Now I can be on a diet, be health concious and have mayonaise on my sandwich.  Now my biggest problem is finding it in the large size.  My stores often only carry the small...

Stouffer's Corner Bistro Southwest-style Chicken Panini

Stouffer's Corner Bistro Southwest-style Chicken Panini
quick and easy, a casual cook, frequent snacker

NOV

2009

My family frequently picks up new things to try and this Stouffer's Southwest style chicken Panini was floating around in the back of the freezer so I gave it a try.

For one thing I found their 'patent pending revolutionary grilling tray' a little small. It didnt fit the size of the sandwich (you have to microwave the two halves seperate) and I kept picking up bits of chicken (said it was white meat but looked more like rib meat) and filler off the edge that kept falling off as i moved it out of the wrapper and onto the top of the box. I microwaved it as instructed but I never saw any grill marks...
