I found a great new foodie social website called Food Buzz. I'm not big on the social web scene. Most spaces are too random. Food Buzz is more focused. Although it covers all things related to food and eating, it does have a theme. Anyone who enjoys cooking or eating can find someone with common culinary interests.
I came across Food Buzz when I googled my name. Oh my. Isn't that just silly? I feel so vain when I do that. Still, it does produce some interesting results including Food Buzz. They had my Barbeque Master blog feeding there - but unclaimed.
After looking around a little, I was impressed. Food Buzz is a bit like My Space or Facebook - with all the networking features. They have all the bells and whistles.
I decided to sign up after checking out all the neat recipes, news notes, and profiles. There was just so much great information.
Members can do restaurant reviews, add recipes, put up personal photos and/or link to other spaces with good info.
I should be writing and cleaning the house and so on, but I am having way too much fun at Food Buzz. The people are friendly. There's just so much to see and read. It's just a flat out fun space.
The header at Food Buzz still says "beta." I think this space is very new. I would think it would have staying power though. Check it out. You'll probably get hooked if you enjoy food.
