I love Folgers Simply Smooth. I wish my husband liked it so I could buy it more often. Unfortunately he's a dark brew guy, so I go for the "happy medium" compromises rather than buying myself something light and super smooth very often. I can't drink more than a couple of cups of coffee normally per day without getting feeling nauseous and jittery, and this kind is super gentle on the stomach.

Every time I drank coffee for years, I would get terrible stomach pains for the rest of the day. Finally they came out with this product, and I realized that I wasn't the only person out there who had this problem. I was a strict one-cup-a-day person anyway, but I really enjoyed my morning cup of coffee and I was sad that it caused so much pain. After this product came out, I found that not only could I drink coffee, pain free, I could even have a second cup! I enjoy the taste of this coffee, I enjoy pretty much everything about it. I will never change coffees, the only thing that could make it better was if they had a flavor or two that was for sensitive stomachs as well. (If they do, they don't sell them where I live.) I tried the 1/2 caffeinated stuff and found that it still hurt, but with this coffee, I can drink what I like, without pain, and with a great taste. In my opinion, this is truly a great product. I love it.

After searching, testing for a morning beverage that would not give me stomach gas, bloating and pain I finally found something that I can enjoy. Acid added to most regular coffee gives you all of my said stomach problems but adds aroma and taste. Simply Smooth has the taste and aroma of a great mild coffee with no ill affects. This is an Excellent coffee, but it's a little bit weaker than its original counterpart. The aroma and color are just about right for a smooth blend coffee. Its 'drinkability' is definately a plus (it is not nearly as acidic as original) for an all day, all night coffee drinker such as myself.

I have to admit that my taste in coffee is not very discerning.  I do enjoy my morning brew, but unless it tastes like motor oil, I'm not terribly picky.  I had used Folgers coffee for years when my tummy began to rebel at my morning routine.  Luckily for me, Folgers added a stomach-friendly coffee to their line of classic and coffeehouse varieties. After I saw the commercial for **Folgers Simply Smooth**, I put it on my shopping list for my next trip to the grocery store. Folgers makes this version of coffee from a special selection of beans that are somehow roasted to reduce the irritants that are common in most coffees.  If you have a sensitive stomach or ulcers you know all too well how that second cup of coffee is enough to push your belly woes over the edge.  I measured and brewed the Simply Smooth in the same way that I do for the regular Folgers coffee.  It had the same aroma and while the taste is not exciting, it is satisfying, mellow and easy on the stomach.  I went ahead and poured a second cup and waited to see how I would feel.  Gratefully, I can report that the level of irritation was less than normal.  It wasn't a huge difference, and I still need to be careful, but it is much less a problem than the regular stuff. The one downside about the coffee is that when Folgers reduced the irritants they increased the price per ounce.  All other things being equal, the Simply Smooth is going to cost you more per cup than the classic roast.  But really, who can put a price on the satisfaction of having that second cup of morning java?

Thank you Folgers for making this "Simply Mild" coffee. For a long time I always had bad acid reflux after I drank a cup of regular coffee, but when I found this I was so elated. Now I can even have 2 or 3 cups of coffee and my stomach is still very happy, no more acid reflux. Yay!!!

Recently I had to give up my morning brew due to my not so forgiving stomach. I was grocery shopping and stumbled upon the simply smooth and figured I'd give it a whirl. Folgers was true to it's word I now can enjoy my "java" in the morning again without experiencing stomach pain all through the day. Though it is more expensive than the normal folgers coffee, I'll pay for it to have a settled tummy all day long!!

Folgers Simply Smooth coffee is gentle on your stomach but not on your wallet.  I am on someone that loves  my coffee in the mornings especially , but as i got older with more health problems, coffee began to make me sick to my stomach when i drank it, and i love coffee, so for awhile i suffered through this daily, till i came across folgers simply smooth coffee, gentle on your stomach is it's claim , and it's true to it's word, for now i can drink as much coffee as i want in the mornings again without getting sick to my stomach. However it is higher priced than your regular folgers coffee, and for this reason only is why i took one point away from it and rated it a four instead of a five, but other than costing more, which it is worth if you love coffee as much as i do, it is excellent tasting coffee that is what it says simply smooth on your tummy. I had already began drinking less coffee due to the effects on my stomach, but now i don't have to, i can drink as much as i like.  So it's  good morning's again.

It's really nice to be able to wind down with a hot cup of tea or coffee...When I found out I was pregnant I cut out all caffeine, and even after my daughter coming up on 10 months old...I've kept the caffeine out, but before she known of, I was a coffee addict!  I used to have a starbucks every single day...Later in my pregnancy, I started to crave a nice hot cup of coffee and tea.  I got burned out on my tea ritual every night and wanted to change it up a bit so when I went through the coffee/tea aisle at the grocery store, I noticed Folgers Simply Smooth...and naturally decaf!! My stomach is pretty sensitive but I used to always pay for it after I had my daily starbucks...I tried out the simply smooth decaf and loved it! It was a nice way to end my day with a nice hot cup of coffee that wouldn't keep me up at night more than my baby girl...and my stomach loved it too!  Great coffee.

When i wake up every morning my coffee is already brewed an Im ready for that first cup of coffee. My first cup has to be strong to start my day cause i start at 3:30 in the morning  an don't get back til 12hrs later so my coffee has to keep me moving so i count on it every day an when i get to work Mary has a pot a brewing an a cup waiting for me she is a true friend  i am a devoted coffee drinker about a 20 cups a day  an folgers is got so many different kinds of coffee i got one for for each special event . you don't see me without a cup in my hand  it has has rich smooth full flavor to wake a person up but yet a lighter smoother tast of french vanilla for the gentle side of me be fore i go to bed to relax me.                                                              sheila bockowski
