Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle Coffee —
I drink coffee just about all morning Monday through Friday while in the office. It helps pass the time and also is a good diversion when co-workers stop by. We can have a cup of coffee while we discuss business. I love to try new flavors out and when i saw the new Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle on a recent shopping trip, I brought home a package--it was choclate flavored and I couldn't resist!Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle Coffee
This is a very smooth and rich flavored coffee that will certainly get you going in the morning! The scent is enough to motivate anyone because if fills the air with a delicious chocolate aroma! Now that I have all the chocolate lover's attention, I will tell you more about this coffee.
Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle Coffee is a ground coffee available in grocery stores in 12 oz. bags. It retails for around $5.99-6.99 per bag, which is not a bad price at all for a gourmet blend. It is made from 100% Arabica beans and is a dark roasted coffee.
My ViewPoint
While this is not a true gourmet coffee that will cost you an arm and leg, it is a gourmet blend of grocery store quality of coffee. It is a decent brew and certainly worth the cost of a mere $6.00 for a bag of Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle.
The flavor is a rich and smooth chocolate which I found to have a slight bite to it but that is because I do not use any sugar in my coffee and very little creamer. Once I added a bit more creamer, this coffee was much more satisfying. I also love the aroma this coffee gives. It will have your kitchen smelling so nice! The chocolate aroma is very tantilizing and any chocolate lover will enjoy this. The scent also lingers in the air so you can enjoy the chocolate aroma hours later. I brew this coffee at the office also and the scent drifts down the hall. I get frequent comments about the aroma, along with questions about what kind of coffee I'm brewing.
I am pretty much hooked on Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle and can't wait to try some of the other blends. I definitely reccomend this one. I give Folgers Gourmet Selections Chocolate Truffle 5 VP's! And remember...."The best part of waking up is Folgers in your cup!"
