Since I work outside the home and keep fairly busy, my schedule doesn't leave a lot of room for being Susie Homemaker. I am also a bit of a procrastinator (OK, a HUGE procrastinator) and I really don't enjoy cleaning. Organization??? Not my strong suit. Never fear, the FlyLady is here!!!
I found the FlyLady's website (flylady.net) by chance. Joining the site is free, so you have nothing to lose by signing up. A word of caution...if you sign up for the daily emails, brace yourself for a barrage...I get at least 4 emails a day with testimonials, sales pitches for their handy-dandy...

I have been a subscriber, through yahoo webgroups, of flylady.net for over a year. I have yet to follow all suggestions that she and her group recommend, however, I have garnered much value in very unexpected places in my life. As an older mom of 4 (two of which were born only two years ago) I am in a state of flux in my life since I have given up my career to care for my younger boys. I thought it would take just a few weeks to get caught up around the home but I was wrong. So I sought out help from flylady. I found FLYLady's website by happenstance and Divine Intervention. I knew HOW to clean, but never got into the habit of actually DOING it. My habits revolved around cleaning up a giant mess, being tired of cleaning that much, and leaving it for a while....only for the cycle to go around and around like that all the time. Most of us were taught to clean it right, clean it all, and clean it till it was done right and completely in the first go-round. That mentality simply does not work for everyone. The FlyLady is an inspiration for messy people everywhere. She teaches that you can do
anything for 15 minutes. She says that all it takes is baby steps to get you into a routine
of cleaning a little bit every day. The website is quite good but the daily e-mails are very
overwhelming. I eventually has to unsubscribe from the mailing list because I could not
keep up with the e-mails. Overall a great site.
