Get $25 coupon for Veramyst at Flonase Website
The Flonase website provides a lot of information about the prescription nasal sprays Flonase and also Veramyst. I used to use Flonase **daily and my husband still uses **Flonase on a fairly regular basis.
What I like about the Flonase Website:
- You can get your first prescription of Veramyst (another nasal spray made by for free with an offer on this website.
- OR if you have an existing prescription for Veramyst, you can get a coupon for up to $25
- Contains helpful information such as drug information about Flonase, how to use Flonase, Flonase and kids
- Contains a glossary of terms so that you can easily see what terms such as allergic rhinits, hypoallergenic, and PNAR mean
- Printable form for nasal symptoms checklist (For years I did not think I had allergies because I didn't have an allergy "season"--my nose stayed stuffy ALL YEAR. Later, I learned that people who have allergies to things such as mold and dust mites can suffer with allergy symptoms all the time. This checklist can be helpful for you and your doctor to help determine what might trigger your allergy symptoms and how best to control them. You may not actually need medications--we purchased air purifiers and had some mold removed from our bathroom floor and I am now off all allergy treatments.)
- List of questions to ask your healthcare provider related to your nasal symptoms. This is a very good idea to print and take with you to the doctor because, if you're like me, you may have a whole list of questions in your mind, but I tend to forget all of them after the doctor enters the exam room!
- Organized nicely and easy to navigate except for one time when I was looking at information for Veramyst, I could not get back to the Flonase part of the website.
- Additional information with lots of specific drug information and study results--geared toward healthcare providers, but it is nice to have available to the general public if they are interested in all the details.
- Links work--I thought it was a nice touch to have several links for various allergy-related websites.
What I don't like about the Flonase Website:
- I did not have much success with Flonase nasal spray (click here to see my review of Flonase)
- I think the directions for how to use Flonase might have been improved if they had a video to accompany the written directions. They did have pictures, but visual learners might be more likely to click on a video option.
- It's a little confusing to have a featured picture of Veramyst on the home page for the Flonase website--I originally thought I was on the wrong web page!
My Viewpoint:
The Flonase website is well-organized and contains informative information related to Flonase, Veramyst, nasal symptoms, and allergies. This website is well suited to the consumer with printables as well as technical, detailed information for healthcare providers. I like the Flonase website much better than the nasal spray!
