I am allergic to cats, dogs, dust, pollen, and a bunch of other stuff.  I started suffering from allergies back when I was in high school and they seem to have become worse over time.  Although I take Zyrtec-D (allergy tablets with decongestant) daily, there are times where I… read full review »

My doctor prescribed this for me when my allergies began acting up.  It helped alleviate my allergy symptoms.  In addition, he also had me use it to actually prevent my allergies from acting up.  I'd say that it worked okay, but not as well as some of the others I've been… read full review »

Spring and fall were miserable seasons for me until I found Flonase Nasal Spray, a prescription dose of fluticasone propionate that acts as a mild steroid to reduce nasal passage inflammation. My doctor has been prescribing Flonase for me for many years, and using it in conjunction with an oral allergy medication has made life bearable. — How - And How Well - It Works — The dosage for this product is 1-2 metered sprays (50 mcg) in each nostril up to twice per day. I use Flonase in the morning and in the evening.  When my allergies are bad, I use the product religiously twice… read full review »

My doctor prescribed this because I had recurret sinus infections and headaches.  She said it doesn't cross the blood brain barrier like a pill, so I like that.  I does drain down the back of your throat with a flowery taste, but I can wash it away quickly with a sip of something.  I take it after my shower, and it seems to work better that way.  It has helped my congestion significantly, but I still have to take a decongestant still sometimes.  It actually helped my nose bleeding.  My nares don't get as dry and crusty… read full review »

I have been suffering from allergies for the past 15 years or so.  At first, my doctor prescribed Claritin D, but it kept me awake at night, then I was on Beconase for a few years, but I did not really like it because it stung my nose everytime I took it. It did not work that great either. Finally about 8 years ago, after I moved to the California Central Valley and my allergies got worse, my doctor prescribed Flonase.  What a relief.  I take Flonase all year long and it works great for me. No runny nose, sore throat, sneezing, watery eyes for me anymore. And there… read full review »

Flonase clears up that horrible problem of not being able to breath through your nose or blow your nose because you are sooo "stuffed up".  It also eliminates that nasty feeling of having everything stuck at the back of your nose and draining into your throat.  If you hold your head slighty bent forward when "spraying and inhaling" it helps the product not to drain down the back of your throat and stay in the nasal passage longer.  Within a few minutes of use I begin to feel the relief and am able to breath normally again.  You will experience some drainage or coughing up… read full review »

For what seems like forever I have suffered from allergies. For 20 years I have tried treatment after treatment. A few weeks ago ago my Doctor switched me to folanase. It didnt seem to do much at first, but after the first week the relief was extrodinary. You must use it daily even when you have no symptoms and used as directed for the first time in a long long time I can breathe like a normal person, my cough is not severe and my my runny nose has almost dissapeared. I can concentate better and I feel so much more productive at work. The little extra pro is people are starting to… read full review »

I never had allergies when I was a child.  In my mid 20's, I started suffering from congestion due to allergies.  Arghh!  Awful!  I have gone through 2 two-week periods when I felt like I was under water.  I couln't hear properly, I couldn't taste anything, my students told me that I was yelling at them when I wasn't meaning to...  My doctor prescribed flonase, and while it wasn't an overnight fix, it helped to clear up my allergies and take away the "underwater" aspect of my life.  The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because of the aftertaste, but I… read full review »

The product is easy to use and just takes a second to administer.  I've been using it for sometime and have yet to experience nose bleeds or a bad taste in my mouth.  If you tilt the bottle when you administer it as you tilt your head (forward) it takes care of the taste in your mouth and if you tilt the bottle away from the center of your nose it doesn't aggravate the septum, so the nose bleeds shouldn't be a problem.  I am very pleased with this… read full review »

Flonase is wonderful. I have never been able to use nasal spray before, but for some reason flonase does not bother me. When I am having allergy problems, I use it and experience relief within in 5-10 minutes. I cannot take many otc allergy meds because they make me drowsy, and the pseudophederine makes me have a bad reaction, however flonase does not affect me at all mentally. It makes my sinuses clear and breathing easy. I also enjoy the scent of it.… read full review »

I have tried to use other nose sprays only to suffer from pain and drainage.  Since I have started to use Flonase Nasal spray, I have no problems. No pain. No drainage. Has a nice fragrance. Easy to use. Easy to hold bottle. Only problem, it's hard to tell when the bottle is getting empty. I can finally breathe, when I have to use Flonase on the rare occasions, when I have to control my… read full review »

My doctor showed me how she uses Flonase and when I used it as she showed me, I didn't get a bad taste in my mouth. I've always hated nasal sprays because they taste so unpleasant.  Flonase smells like flowers..carnations I think.  The smell goes away in a short time after I use it, but I really don't mind the smell at all.  It works very well on heading off a sinus… read full review »

I have used flonase before and it does work but I didn't like some of the side effects I had with it.  Like I say it helped with the allergies but it left my nose sore and I had a bad taste in my mouth.  It would work for about 3 hours and then I had the same symptons I had before but with a worser headache.  I just decided I needed to find a different nose… read full review »

This product was awful.  I had a very bad sinus infection several years ago. I used this product maybe 3 times.  It made me dizzy and gave me headaches. The texture was like putting cobwebs in my nose. Gross!!!  Also, I believe that it contains steroids as well.  Overall, I would never recommend Flonase to… read full review »

I was in such a bad way before I used this.  I was always stuffed up and swollen feeling inside my nose.  I was so uncomfortable!  After trying another brand of steroid nasal spray, my doctor tried me on this one.  I have been on it for years--ever since I first tried it!  I love it and it helps with my nasal… read full review »
