My doctor showed me how she uses Flonase and when I used it as she showed me, I didn't get a bad taste in my mouth. I've always hated nasal sprays because they taste so unpleasant.  Flonase smells like flowers..carnations I think.  The smell goes away in a short time after I use it, but I really don't mind the smell at all.  It works very well on heading off a sinus headache.
