A good way to fight allergies without taking a pill

adult onset allergy sufferer, always congested
Pros

    no drowsiness, no major side effects for me, easy to use, helps to control allergies

Cons
    leaves an unpleasant taste in my mouth

My doctor prescribed this because I had recurret sinus infections and headaches.  She said it doesn't cross the blood brain barrier like a pill, so I like that.  I does drain down the back of your throat with a flowery taste, but I can wash it away quickly with a sip of something.  I take it after my shower, and it seems to work better that way.  It has helped my congestion significantly, but I still have to take a decongestant still sometimes.  It actually helped my nose bleeding.  My nares don't get as dry and crusty (sorry).
